Probably one of the most famous bridges in the world, usually because it’s in frame Big Ben gets blown up by Guy Fawkes wannabes/aliens/nazi zombies/mutant virus…nHorrendously busy with tourists in summer. If you want a good photo, choose low season, winter, with low sun.
Had a really lovely boat cruise at Westminster. It was a beautiful and pleasurable experience and interesting evening scenes. Picturesque scenery. Great weather that day too, except for a light rain drizzle. Enjoyed a lovely stroll after the cruise.
Great spot to take pictures over the Thames river. During the day it's fairly congested, however, I found it much easier to get great photos of the bridge and Big Ben at night.
Westminster Bridge is nice to walk across, but it can get extremely busy, and many scams operate there. Would recommend coming early in the morning, when it is very quiet and much nicer to walk across and take in the sights.
Great spot to enjoy classic London views with Big Ben right in front of you. Perfect for photos and a relaxed walk across the Thames. Busy but totally worth it
