West Hampstead underground station is served by the jubilee line this station has toilets on the platforms. The ticket hall area is a average size there is no disabled access to the platforms only stairs. West Hampstead underground station can be busy at certain times passengers can change here for West Hampstead Thameslink and London overground stations which are both across the road. The station was clean and tidy.
Quite nice station. Very small with brick architecture. It can be very busy and noisy, especially with metropolitan line passing by on the distant tracks on either sides. Nice station for any trainspotters or train enthusiasts.nnThere is only one entrance, with few barriers to enter and exit. Sometimes staffed. I’m notnSure about toilets, I don’t think I came across any.nnHowever, there is a big waiting room further down the platform.
This is a good interchange. It is a pity they don’t have the Metropolitan line stopping here as at Finchley Road. That would make this area one of the biggest Transport interchanges, with Overground and Thameslink a short 50-100 metre walk away
Just a basic underground station. Very small hall when u entered. Make me feel any haunting movie scene. Low light more commuters. Cross the barriers n here u go with 2 open platforms. Service is good which all matters.
No step free access , but helpful staff at this Underground station. Toilets at this station , often closed. No ticket office. On the Jubilee line. NOTE - West Hampstead Overground station is across the road to Willesden Junction , Richmond etc AND is a separate station .nAND there is a separate West Hampstead Thameslink / National Rail station - across the road , head uphill north - further up West End Lane , past Billy Fury Lane , named in memory of the pop star who died aged 42 , then cross to the other side , and go down Iverson Road.
