Chalk Farm Underground Station Northern Line is a charming Grade II–listed red‑tilled Leslie Green design with lifts though a few steps remain to the platforms. Its narrow ticket hall can get cramped at peak times, but it offers easy access to Camden’s Roundhouse and other local spots—making it both a historic landmark and a convenient stop.

I've been living here for 8 years and love it. The area is centrally located, close to nature and national heritage sites and a good mix of cultures.

Chalk Farm station has a cool feature - a grocery shop. Also, as the platform isn't far underground, walking up the stairs is an option.nThe busiest line on the Underground - the Northern line - is the line where Chalk Farm is, so it's easy to get to some interesting sights from there.

Decent tube station to catch where the top half of the station has nice character with the bottom half of the station looking rough.nnSimilar design to Regents Park and Goodge Street stations.nnP.S. Only one lift is working at the moment so it would be slow coming in and coming out but at least the lifts fit 50 people.

A nice old fashioned station. A bit short of exit barriers but the lift is way quicker than escalators. Very handy for The Roundhouse.
