Nice rural feeling tube station. More residential than busy. Although renamed Brent Cross, from Brent over fifty years ago for the well known shopping centre, it's not exactly near it... It's fifteen minutes hike up and down stairs over numerous dual carriageways and a river... Take a packed lunch!
Horrible place. There is no one around to help. The gates don't work. When we reached, the place was so slippery and the floor was drenched.nThe place also feels so unsafe.
Just a common station.
Calm today. Aimed at motorists- very little signage to public transport. Crossing A406 is a bit of a trek.
Brent Cross has a special place in my heart. 40 odd years ago my dear old Mum R.I.P and I lived in a relatives house in Golders Green where we would go on shopping trips to B,C shopping centre. Personally at 7 years old I didn't like it. Scooby doo on the tv was much more appealing but as I have said, B,C holds special place.
