Fantastic campsite, really good spacious pitches that are allocated and mostly separated by hedging and trees. It was our first time camping in our microcamper and Warcombe were very friendly and welcoming. Brilliant dog run. Fantastic facilities, plenty of loos and impeccably clean! A good walk into the nearby towns/pubs which in my ill health was way too far so had to drive the whole weekend. But the campsite itself overlooks the sea and is gorgeous! They also have food vans that attend nightly.
Lovely clean campsite. Friendly staff. Very organised and secure site. We come every other year with the dog. Perfect dog friendly holiday and has its own grounds for a walk. Very close to everything. Couldn't recommend enough.
We have just come back after spending a couple of nights here. We booked hard standing with our own gate to the lake. The staff are friendly, site kept nice and the shower and toilet block, wow they are the best I've seen and used. They have rules but then so does every campsite we visit. The dog exercise area is wow, so much room for them to run about, poo bins dotted around in their too along with picnic benches, and the view from the bottom is lovely. My springer just loved running around and going through the wooded areas. At the end of the walk they have their own doggy shower room. A lovely site Definitely will be back and thank you warcombe farm for a great few days away
Pros Fabulous views and lovely pitches, dog walk area is fantastic, excellent dog wash facility. Cons Staff attitude and rules, I am all for rules but the enforcement and nature of them here is crazy. 5mph speed limit, it’s great to keep cars moving slowly around site but it can be very tricky to drive consistently without stalling at 5mph. This is highly policed by staff, without speed checking equipment, therefore I am unsure as to how they are trained to know what is 5 mph vs 6 or 7. If however they believe you are above 5 you will be reprimanded like a child. Also despite data protection if a group of you stay on site despite booking and paying as an individual they will advise other with in the group that ‘someone has been speeding’. You are not allowed off site between 10pm and 7am unless in an emergency so if you want to get up early and go off for an early walk to beat the heat… no such luck. Staff are constantly driving round sight on buggy’s watching what you are doing which does not leave for a relaxed feeling. Finally dogs are never allowed to be left unattended so if you are single and staying alone I can only assume they expect you to use toilets and showers off site don’t forget you cannot leave site between certain hours? There are place to tie your dogs up outside the shower blocks however I am not sure how that is not unattended and also would like my dog not to be stolen as I believe do most owners. I also feel this could be incredibly off putting for anyone not keen on dogs to have to walk past. Summary - Beautiful site, great facilities, lovely ideas but rude ‘big brother style’ staff won’t leave you feeling relaxed.
Beautiful campsite, wonderful pitch 164/165. Excellent showers and wonderfully clean toilets. Great park/dog walking area, with doggy showers and bins conveniently located. Spectacular walks through woods and along the coastal path. Overall one of the best campsites we’ve been lucky enough to find. Walkability: Stunning coastal path walks, some steep areas but worth the effort.
Fab campsite, up there with one of the best we’ve been to. We travelled as a family and with several other friends with little ones, and dogs. The facilities are absolutely excellent, clean, accessible. The site was well looked after and all staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Already planning to stay again!Service: 5/5
Quite literally the best camping park in the south west. Truly love coming here with my partner in the VW. Always greeted with such warmth and positivity. The park itself is superb and spotless. Amenities always being so clean. It is the perfect location and walking distance to Woolacombe, Lee , Mortehoe! Highly recommend this place. It’s perfect for everyone. Families, couples, children and of course doggies Always will be returning Nearby activities: Close to Woolacombe, Lee Bay , Mortehoe Food & drinks: In high season there is always food trucks that come onto the park. Variety always excellent and always delicious
First stayed at warcombe farm as a child and just came back from my first camping trip with my own children . We had a brilliant time, pitch was clean and the site was tidy . The facilities are fantastic, lovely large shower cubicles , toilets and washing up stations were spotless. A really family friendly site , great if you want a quiet site that's tranquil especially if nightly entertainment caravan parks aren't your thing . Brilliant children's play area . Our dogs enjoyed the exercise field which is enclosed making sure it's safe , we used the dog wash shower which was a godsend. We purchased WiFi so we had Internet access for the whole family. Staff are friendly and helpful, the site felt very safe and secure only residents can come and go especially as we had young children. I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful family and dog friendly site camping 10/10
We have stayed at Warcombe Farm more than 10 times and have yet to find a site we like better ! Lovely staff who can't do enough for you, fabulous huge pitches, fantastic views and a beautiful dog walk and washroom. All the facilities are spotless and the atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. Hoping to be able to visit twice a year in the future
We’ve stayed at Warcombe Farm several times and rate it as one of the best campsites we’ve ever stayed on. We love the immaculate toilets & showers with underfloor heating, the views and especially the big, hedged Sea View pitches at the bottom of the site and we love the ethos of the owners and staff - ie that it’s a peaceful and tranquil site. It’s not a site for large groups, for playing music or making lots of noise of any kind and we love it that way
