We just returned from a short camping break in October. Barry was incredibly welcoming, completely relaxed and let us choose our own pitch. He was giving us lots of useful local information. The site is amazing: wonderful sea views, spotless facilities with warm showers. We will definitely return.
We stayed for 3 nights last week. Great site with amazing views. Plenty of toilets and showers which were very clean. The onsite shop sells all the essentials. A short walk in to Mortehoe which has pubs, takeaway, post office etc - the bistro does great food! Around a 25 minute walk in to Woolacombe. Great spot for walking the coastal path - incredible views! We will definitely be back.
Stayed here in our touring caravan, really lovely site. Showers are basic but everything else is good.. Shops got everything you need, play areas were really good. Dog friendly and easy to get to the village nearby which has buses to wollacombe. Beautiful view of the sea, especially from the dog walking area. Felt very safe and peaceful. Safety: Felt safe for our child running around.
What a great spot, very relaxed site, pitch up where you want. Toilets and showers are very clean and good hot showers. Some amazing spots to pick to get an amazing sunset! Fantastic on-site shop and just a couple of minutes walk to the village pub and a other places to eat.
We visited the campsite shop each day from our air b and b. Fantastic cakes coffee and pastries You can sit outside the shop with your drinks etc We explored the camp site when we walked back along the coast from Bulls point. Beautiful location .
It's a great site with fantastic views and lovely beaches within easy walking distance. There are several pubs and takeaways nearby so you can arrive and forget about the car. The site is pretty long so if you camp at the end you are a fair old walk from the shop and wash block. It is also hilly so you might have to scout around for the flattest available pitch.
Lovely site with spectacular ocean views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site is just outside the village of Mortehoe a few minutes walk from local amenities ot a 10 min drive from Woolacombe. The only downside is that there were very flat pitches for tents available. That aside it's a lovely siteService: 5/5

Amazing views, dog friendly and inexpensive. Be fully aware there are only ~14 places to pitch a tent or park van that are on "flat" ish ground which we counted. Those spots are AMAZING if you get one. Toilet block is a bit of a wander from the far side of the campsite, clean though and showers were open before 07:30. Staff very friendly. Wifi is £5 a day, but you can get reliable 4G higher up. We would definitely go back and will do soon!
This is an excellent campsite. The Family and staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent little shop on site. The location is perfect. Don't be put off by the static caravan site which greats you although this looks lovely too but it's the campsite on the other side! This is where the views are, it's 2 to 3 or even 4 fields of coastal view, traditional camping fields. All the pictures are winky wonky, I don't think there are any flat pitches but it doesn't matter, everybody is just laid back and having a chilled holiday. It gets busy especially during summer hols and a grand finale at August Bank Holiday. Outside these times are the best, on occasion you can be the only ones there. After trying a few sites close by, this is the best one. The toilets and showers are in 1 block which can be a walk away from the far fields but this doesn't bother me, they are spotlessly clean and always hot. On site staff are great, beach and coastal path access, little village pub and chippy down the road, croissants and coffee for breakfast....... what more do you need? Can't wait to go back.
