Horrible GP service. You have to dial more than 100 times in order to get through. The receptionist are rude and have no empathy. This is not the kind of service a GP setting should be providing. No concerns with the doctors or nursing staff.
I suffer with ongoing medical issues. Almost every single time I have rang the surgery at 8am, when it opens, the phone has been engaged for at least half an hour. As far as I’m aware this is not normal procedure and patients should be in a queue on hold. When somebody does answer more often than not they’re rude, abrupt and lack care and compassion. I’d love to comment on the doctors but I’m rarely able to get an appointment despite calling at 8am as instructed, numerous days within a week. I will be changing GP surgery and would recommend others to do so.
Normally you would have to ring 8:00am to get an appointment but im a night shift worker so i cant wake up at that time but normally when i explain my situation they would give me an appointment for the next week today i rang them up for an appointment the receptionist was so arrogant wouldnt care about my situation and told me if you cant wake up then theres nothing we can do i have to follow the rules! I will be taking this further specially the receptionist i will definitely be suing her the way she spoke and the way she didnt care!
Very difficult to get hold of GP in this practice.Calling 8 am in the morning you end up calling 50 times before getting through and by the time all appointments are full.Sad thing is you have to chase the blood results by ringing and then having to arrange the appointments for follow up is a nightmare.
Would not recommend for antenatal care, never had a problem with the doctors but midwifery service was quite poor. In January 2021 the care seemed a lot better with flexibility on days you have your appointment and continuity of care. When pregnant this year there were different midwives at different appointments and they did not seem to communicate so I had to explain/update them at the next appointment. There was also no way to contact the midwife directly meaning long waits 2-4 days when needing to speak with them. Several times was promised a call back and didn’t receive it which led to me not being aware of test that had been arrange. Also was told at one point the midwife was too busy to speak with me about PGP and I’d have to wait until next appointment which was over a month away at the time. Luckily the hospital were more helpful. I have now changed medical practices due to this experience as I wouldn’t want to go through this ‘care’ again.
Receptionist very rude, Had a phone appointment booked and stated you will get call before 13:00hrs. Called them back 14:00hrs stated you have missed you call call Back tomorrow. Voicemail left at 14:30hrs No manners Further more reception will call you to book an appointment and when you turn up the doctor and nurse will have no clue why you there and send you back home
I'm not talking about the people. I understand the staff are doing their best. But this system is broken. Useless place.
I'm not really sure why this GP surgery bothers to exist or employ any qualified doctors, since it's effectively impossible to get an appointment unless you're a white pensioner they're the only ones I ever see go in or out. If you phone in at any time other than 8am they'll tell you they don't have any appointments left, and that they don't offer in-advance appointment booking for days in the future, which is entirely inflexible and inconsiderate of the needs of working people who want to look after their health. Further to this, the reception staff seem like they just want to get rid of you, and that you're inconveniencing them, so if you struggle with your mental health you might find they make you worse rather than better; they certainly won't allow you to see a GP after all, that would be far too much to ask. Overall just very typical of the 'God Complex' the NHS and their staff have post-Covid when we all were expected to worship at their alter and do their bidding. Well when you need help don't expect them to do anything for you.
totally disappointed. I've been waiting for a month to be scheduled at the midwife's. I call every day and I am treated very badly. I asked for the midwife's number. They gave me 2 different numbers. I'm trying to call. and is incorrect number. I find it disrespectful and contemptuous of patients
Absolutely discussed with this place. We are costumers for them not patients! Services absolutely poor. I simply can't even believe this place is still running. People there are careless and rude, ignorant and lack of knowledge. Over 3 month I am trying get some help, visited over 6 times, had over 5 phone calls and nothing, absolutely nothing being done . Giving empty promises. I am disappointed with health system. They wants us to suffer so we can get more ill and they can make more money out of us. They are not worth even 1 star. Pathetic!!!
