I went with my daughter to see a dentist for her dental problem. First there was barrier control car park and the ground floor was only for blue badge holders. The car park was nearly full but we mange to get a space. When u enter hospital security staff told you to put a new mask on before heading to reception. Reception desk was short on staff and the receptionist was taking ages to deal with each customer. It made me late 5 min for my appointment. Other then reception desk all other staff was nice and friendly. Waiting time was about 40 minutes thats not too bad. Dentist were very friendly and helpfull. If you have an appointment there then make sure you reach there about 20 min early for car park and reception.
Absolutely brilliant in every way. I cannot overstate how wonderful this dental service is. I’ve had a root canal, temporary filling, permanent filling and multiple x rays here and all have been amazing! I’m going back to have a crown in a couple of weeks. On top of giving amazing treatment and everyone being really friendly, professional and welcoming, the hospital have been awesome to my service dog. Not only have they ensured that there have been no problems with access, they even gave a bowl of water for him the last time I was in without me even needing to ask! Thank you to everyone at the hospital, you’re awesome!
Not only was the lady that I saw very dismissive 2wards me she didnt hide that she wasnt interested in what i was going through. I received the summary that she wrote and was shocked because it is not a true reflection of what has actually been happening. There is more than 1 lie in the letter including stating things I never said.
Left me on the line waiting for over 2 hours when i called and asked if I register someone there. They said wait for the student department to pick up and 2 hours 10 minutes later they haven’t. Could’ve and should have just told me NO. Instead of wasting my time‍ Zero to customer services
Lovely experience had 2 teeth removed and I'm extremely frightened of dentist as my dentist is a butcher with no people skills or patience, so got referred here for sedation although there was roughly a year waiting list for sedation, I didn't need the sedation they went at my speed and let me have a breather when needed. The dentist was patient and got the 2 enormous teeth out can't remember the dentist name as I was that scared when I first went in my mind was blank but shes the best also the lovely dental nurse who assisted her and also kept a big guy like me calm! I've still got to go back for 2 wisdom teeth removed and not one bit anxious as only the first needle hurts a little but it's over within 15 seconds Update just had 2 top wisdom teeth removed of Sheeba and Stacey didn't even feel most of the needles go in. She was really gentle and got both teeth out really quick with no messing around and no pain. Brilliant pair of people
The worst hospital . The poor standard in every aspect of care . It seem that the 3 floors reception offices have beef with each other . It’s like a different team blaming each other ! One receptionist was so rude I had to report her . The first and ground floor receptionist staff are unprofessional lazy constant smelling of cigarette. I am so disgusted with this Hosp. I can appreciate the long list from covid backload but they seem to still be in crises before and after covid . The building reminds of government offices in pre communist Russia . The managers are exhausted and the medical staff because the Hosp management is so poor in implementing strategies in place . How can managers run smoothly their jobs when you bring in unprofessional, no bother and very tired out of date staff who don’t care and don’t want to be there . Customer service Care for patients is so poor . I have been waiting for 5 yrs ! I never like to complain but this dental hospital at the Manchester hospital should get the award for the worst hospital in UK !
Dentist brilliant but went to X-ray told it was a 40 minute wait over 2 hours later still waiting staff weren’t bothered and were quite rude
After being referred 4 1/2 years ago after my dentist found a concerning shadow above a root canaled crowned tooth, it took 18 months before surgery took place, only due to a student who had concerns after being told to simply proceed with a root canal, by which time a large mass had eaten through my hard palate into my sinus cavity. Treatment plan included restorative replacement of 4 crowns. I have today been told that they need to refer me to another dept after initially attempting to send me back to my own dentist. There was one other patient there, when previously the area held at least 20 treatment booths, and I'm informed that there is one secretary for the entire dental hospital. Utterly appalling for this public funded organisation!
Very poor service. I was helping my wife to call them for an urgent dental appointment. We waited for 15 minutes and there was a lady accepted our call. The reception was so impatient and rude; she hanged up the call straight after when I asked my wife to speak to her for verification. I mean how would you expect someone to speak clearly and smoothly when he or she is having oral/dental issue? We ended up booking for an appointment on one of the private dental practices. Don't even bother to waste our time on them.
I have recently started to visit the Dental hospital on a regular basis, Staff have been taking good care of me from signing in to the nurses and trainees during treatment very understanding. Martin James has been handling my care and i couldnt be more happier with my work so far ty guys so much and martin.
