Upon having my Mini R56 diagnosed with a faulty turbo, I knew I had to get it sorted ASAP. I was recommended Turbos Specialist by a local mechanic. After looking at their reviews, I felt like this was the place to take my car to, even if it was a two hour journey away. I called Agnes a few times over the phone to make sure everything was set for the day. She was extremely helpful, polite and professional. I also wanted to mod the car in one go whilst the entire front end was being taken apart. I ended up buying a uprated intercooler, downpipe, air induction kit, recirculation valve, exhaust system and some silicone piping with the hopes that they'd have the time to add a few of those mods on the day. I also stressed that it would be ideal if we could complete as much as possible in a day since it takes me a long time to get to the garage and I needed the car for work the next day. Anatolij and Agnes arrived before their official opening hours to start working on the car straight away. They kept me updated throughout the day, taking pictures of any potential problems. Upon returning to pick up the car I was in shock that they managed to complete EVERYTHING, staying behind two hours after close to ensure the new turbo and mods were all taken care of. I can't imagine how intense it must have been. I also oversaw how diligently Anatolij worked on the car towards the end and it all made sense. I felt completely reassured - a vastly experienced hard worker. You don't see many of those nowadays. Perhaps I could learn a thing or two from him. All in all, It's extremely reassuring to find hard and honest workers such as Anatolij and Agnes. 5 stars doesn't do them enough justice. Glad I went with this little gem. Turbos Specialists Ltd quoted me for refurbishing the turbo on my 10 year old Volvo V50. The work was completed on time. The DPF also needed cleaning and they organised this at modest extra cost and also cleaned the intercooler. A problem arose when I collected the car, but they took it back in, sorted it out over a weekend and subsequently delivered the car to me at home, 30 miles rather than expecting me to catch the train to collect it. All in all, excellent service, pleasant to deal with and even coffee and biscuits whilst I waited. Also the car is transformed and runs like new again. I had garage quotes for a failing turbo replacement for £1900 or £600 for a repair if possible. I took my car to "Turbo Specialists Ltd" who diagnosed the problem and repaired the turbo for £180. All with courteous and prompt service. Very impressed.

Fantastic service from this company. The turbo on my VW Transporter was playing up and other garages told me that it needed a full replacement. These guys managed to replace the faulty part saving me hundreds of pounds. They really know their stuff about turbochargers. Really fast service as well. Highly recommended.
My turbo began to fail at 156k. Turbo Specialist were transparent about price and very flexible in how and when I could drop off and pick up the unit. The refurbished unit looked new when returned. Unfortunately the refurbished turbo began to make siren noises shortly afterwards. Turbo Specialist honoured the warranty without a fight. They first tried stripping, re-examining and refitting the initial turbo carrying out all labour themselves which was not successful. They then agreed to provide a known good turbo in exchange from their stock, which worked a treat. I guess my original was beyond effective refurbishment. The best test of a business is how they respond when things don't go to plan, and Turbo Specialist honoured a warranty at significant cost whilst being flexible throughout the process.
