Sovereign Group is a well established company that has been in the Croydon region for nearly 20 years. Please don’t come here. Constant bullying and anti social behaviour. Park their cars all over Whitehorse Rd illegally. If you ever speak to them about it they intimidate you and threaten you.  Also their illegal side entrance makes you go down a one way exit road that is also lined with illegally parked cars. Avoid.

Had our van in for MOT at Sovereign Group at 226 Whitehorse road CR0 2LB. Van is in excellent condition year 2012 with approximately 60k on the clock. I had replaced the wiper blades 3 months earlier that and done less than 500miles since. So blades in perfect condition, I am pedantic when it comes to vision. The mot engineer did during the MOT jump out of the car, did go over to the left side of it, took a grip with his nails around the end of the left side wiper blade and ripped the blade, I looked stunned at the side, without a word he continued to the right side of the van and repeated the same task. Then stated, your wiper blades needs replacement. Do you want to purchase new ones now as it will be a fail. You can purchase anywhere you like but then you have to come back again.  I guess it did really annoy the inspector that the van was supertidy inside out, including engine bay and he could not find anything to fail the van on, so "had to" destroy the wiper blades. Believe me, you can do this easily to brand new wiper blades should you of some strange reason wish to. Strongly suggest you look for another garage. PS! I am a car mechanic and have been in the automotive field 35 years.

I received an online quote which was a little cheaper than some trusted companies This is where I made a mistake for a few quid. The recommended repair for MOT was to polish the headlights, which costed extra and was not done properly and there was still oxidised cloud left on the headlights. When repairing the brake light bulb the cap which covers the internal wiring, in the boot, was left open. Tiny white solid dots were left on the bonnet, I assume it was paint or chalk and grease marks left on the car.  Website also says that they will pick up the car and deliver it once finished but I was never offered that either. Overall, it was not a good experience and I tried to contact the garage and he was not ready to listen to all this and ENDED THE CALL whilst I was still explaining, amazing customer service, right?  When I put my points forward I was told that I was annoying him and I was being picky; I paid full amount and I expect my car to be in the same condition as I delivered it to them, expecting good quality services that I paid for. Generally the guy was rude and had odd response to everything I said/asked.  When I added a review on the online website it never became active so I assume that they only pass the review which have 5 star responses on their website, but dont worry I will do anything to inform everyone about how bad your services are.

I have used this garage twice, on recommendation from my boyfriend. They are great, get the job done and are totally honest. Excellent service. Will be using them for my mot next time.

They need a secretary or a admin worker, the mechanics don't have the customer service skills.  I hope that get it sorted.
