I've left it a long period of time before writing my review, purely because I have been stung by unscrupulous garages before and wanted to be absolutely sure about my opinion.  I drive a 2007 E93 BMW, I love this car as you'll soon realise. Last year I switched jobs which changed my driving from motorway to urban London. Within 3 months, the damage was appearing. Breakdown after breakdown. Numerous issues, mainly with overheating, oil simply burning away etc etc. 5.. yes 5 local garages all had my car towed in for repair and diagnostics. None of them could resolve the issues. I've lost count of how many radiators, pipes, sensors etc etc were replaced.  I'd had enough. I wanted to keep the car, and with the introduction of ULEZ, my compliant car was not going to Khan's ridiculous scrappage scheme and I could simply not afford a replacement.  I needed to find somebody who had the knowledge and experience with BMW to resolve this once and for all. After extensive research, I stumbled across IAUTO in Croydon. Apparently a main dealer alternative. I booked in for diagnostics.  From the get go, the professionalism shown by Shazil and Anoop was exemplary. I explained my issue's with the vehicle and my work commitments and nothing was a problem. My car was booked in for diagnostics and I was given the use of one of their very well kept courtesy cars whilst mine was being looked at.  Within a day, I had a comprehensive list of work and parts required, and a cost. Yes, absolutely it was very expensive. I needed a new water pump, a new oil pump amongst other bits and pieces. I'm under absolutely no illusion as to how much original BMW parts cost so I certainly wasn't expecting a cheap fix up.  It was certainly a dent in my finances, I weighed it up and decided to go ahead with the repairs. I do not regret it for a second. It has been nearly 8 months now since IAUTO first took on my challenge of finding the problems that 5 other garages couldn't, and curing my car, and my car is  running well all this time. The cost of my repair did not change from original quote, there was no faffing about and addings on... all straight from day one.  I had numerous encounters with the various mechanics that were tasked with working on my vehicle, every one of them, polite, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable. On one occasion my vehicle had to be parked a fair distance away as parking is an absolute premium in that area, I'm a lone female and absolutely not comfortable in Croydon on my own, one of the lovely mechanics walked with me and stayed with me until I was safely in my car and away. You don't get this sort of care at Kwikfit!!  Overall, a very competent, honest and transparent garage. Actually a very rare find. I would 100% recommend. In fact I have since been back for brakes etc and again, a no fault experience and conscientiousness all the way.

I have a warranty with Car Giant and the company recommended this garage iAutoUK to check the fault on my vehicle. First I was met by a very rude and dismissive man at the first desk. My main complaint was that the information provided was misleading, I was told upon collecting the vehicle that they can not fix the car because it’s not covered in the warranty, in addition I was charged for the diagnostic which was not mentioned. I am now going to have to take my car the Nissan Dealership to pay another £162 for the same thing! Not happy!

I ended up here because of my AA membership and the fact this was the closest AA approved to my home but I won’t be going here again, unfortunately. I had an MOT and service, but I have had better experiences elsewhere in the past.  The minute you turn into the road, it is PACKED with cars on either side. It feels claustrophobic. Good luck trying to find somewhere to park. The garage forecourt is packed too, getting in and out of the place felt like extra hassle.  When I went to pick up my car & got the keys back, trying to locate my car was “fun”. Ended up having to rope a couple of guys from the garage in to help, turns out a mechanic had parked it waaaaaay down the road because there was no space closeby.  I realised when I got home that I hadn’t been given any of the usual paperwork I’d receive after an MOT & service. Called up about it the next day. Turns out it was going to be emailed to me by the AA instead.  Long story short, it was an option because times were tough and The AA gave me a discount plus the opportunity to pay in instalments. But, it wasn’t for me. Next year, I’ll be going back to my usual spot.  On the bright side, the young lady on reception was friendly and helpful.

They provided an upfront estimate for the repairs, and there were no hidden costs or surprises when it came time to settle the bill. The value for money I received was truly exceptional.  Overall, my experience at iAutoUK was nothing short of fantastic. I left feeling confident that my vehicle had received the best possible care, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend iAutoUK to anyone in need of automotive servicing or repairs. I have been using iAutoUK for a few years through my AA membership and very local to me. Good customer service, however they are at times slow with repairs and sometimes don’t give a honest deadline. Can’t complain because I have never had to bring the car back with the same problem if they do find any other issues they do inform you what additional work may need to be done but never pressured into doing the work always give you the choice for me to make a decision reasonable price. Would definitely recommend to others.

Got charged over £1000. Problem was not resolved had to take the car to another garage to get it sorted. Made lots of calls to iAuto and never picked up the call, I would not recommend them.

I called them and was able to secure an appointment for coming week even though they were fully booked but the lad on phone by the name shahzil was super friendly and helpful. Upon arriving i was offered beverage while my car was been taken care off. Within hours the iauto uk team made my car just as new which usually takes a day. The staff over there were very professional and experienced. At the end they explained to me what has been changed and what repair work could be done. I %100 recommend them for any mechanical work.
