Where do I start?? This place should be shut down! It’s not fit for animals let alone humans.
Absolutely disgusting place and amazes me that people have left 5 stars - either fake or they just don’t have any hygiene, safety, or quality standards!
The staff are NOT friendly, they are extremely rude! They stuff their faces in front of people genuinely trying to workout! This place either smells of food or stinking bio!!

The classes are ALWAYS full unless you go in at 6am in the morning to put your name down for the morning sessions or 4pm for the evening ones! I was told I can’t put my name down for an evening class in the morning and I must come after 4pm however when you get there at 3:50pm and find the class is fully booked.. What’s that about? 
They have suggestion cards but I think they use them to doodle behind the counter because no one listens to realistic suggestions!
Changing rooms are FILTHY ladies! Most lockers don’t work! Don’t leave your belongings because they will get stolen! 
The Showers are seriously awful! Hair everywhere, empty toiletries just dumped there! And plus there’s not even a hook/shelf for you to put your towel/shower gel etc! 
STAY AWAY from the sauna and steam room, unless you want someone else’s dead skin all over you and god knows what else you might catch! I’ve seen women having a shave and exfoliating quite blatantly in there without any respect for others.
I’ve seen cleaner facilities in 3rd world countries then in here (no disrespect to 3rd world countries)

The equipment is so dated and some broken but still in use! Surely that’s against health and safety standards?

If you do join this gym and want to cancel your membership I suggest you just bend over because you will find out that it’s not a months notice you have to give but more like 3 months!!

Best thing I did was to LEAVE!!!

To begin with, this gym is a scam. Most of the workers are rude and all they do is eat. Their main goal is to take your money. I tried cancelling my membership and no one called me back after phoning many times. I was charged extra for cancelling my direct debit even though I pay month to month and had filled in a form to cancel my membership. They tried to make me to pay £66 even though I had cancelled my membership as was 'stated' when I signed. They are still continuing to charge me even after I have told them I'm leaving. 
Also, the gym is unhygienic and unsanitary. Me and my friend went to the gym together and (it being her first time at the gym) found a used pad in the shower that someone had left. I have been in the sauna/steam room and had to leave because women are shaving themselves in there. Weights are scattered everywhere, no one puts anything away which is a health and safety violation. The machines too, are very filthy and most likely have never been cleaned. 
Most of the lockers in the gym are broken and they haven't done anything to fix them after being with the gym for 7 months. Many people resort to putting their bags behind reception which is at the centre of the gym. I met a woman at the gym who had her stuff stolen as all of the lockers which were working were being used and she wasn't allowed to put her things at the reception as there was no space, so she decided to put her things in a broken locker which resulted in it being stolen. 
All in all, it isn't worth paying £20 a month for such a bad facility.

I have been a member of Trugym for a few years now and have come across the friendliest members of staff - the girls at reception are very welcoming and always smiling.

I have recently started training with Yasmin and I can honestly say she makes our gym experience a dream!

Cleanliness of the changing rooms could be better!!

I’ve been a member of this gym for a good few years now and can safely say these negatives comments are uncalled for. Seems like some ladies aren’t getting what they want and throwing their toys out the pram🙄. I’m not member because it is a ladies only gym, I can easily go else where but the staff and some members here are super friendly and welcoming, whoever’s at reception always gives me smile when I swipe in, I’ve been to other gyms and the atmosphere isn’t the same. 
However the only issue I have is the cleaniness of the gym but I’m sure some members don’t help by not cleaning up after themselves!!🤦🏽‍♀️
