The most rubbish gym I have com across. Terrible staff, rude and quiet lazy. It takes 1 million years to reach then over the phone. Cleanliness is a massive problem in this facility and the communication or lack of between staff and gym goers is atrocious. Spend more money elsewhere, these guys are not worth the hassle. Don’t get me started on their app which is completely abysmal

Not bad like for a cheap gym. You can find here all the machines you need plus few more benches and free weights. The only thing I dont like here is that it's quite dark but hey...electricity is expensive these days : also cleaning mirrors once a week would be nice :

Definitely need to take the price back down considering the state of this gym, dont get me wrong its okay to get a small sesh in but its not worth the price its been put up to especially for mums who wanna work out. Ive had to stop going as i cant afford it since the price hike.

gets the job done, its a little bit dirty in the weights room and the dumbbells and plates are a complete mess. the sauna and steam room are nice, hottest steam room ive been to. just needs a bit of a spruce up

Just read other reveiws "Oh dear". Been going for 3months ish now. For me this gym gives me everything I want. The equipment and floor space.  I've paid stupid money at other gyms in the past and been forced to pay for stuff I won't and wouldn't use, or I've had to cue for equipment when they give away a load of free passes. People using it as a social club and use equipment as seats.  Active fitness has none of these normal annoyances. Offers a basic membership at a competitive price. It's a little rough, a bit dated. But so am I. Nice staff, good crowd. Everything is functional. Rarely wait for equipment. If anything it's because it's a functional gym. Not trying to feel or look like a hotel that keeps the normal annoying types away.

Left here in 2019 to go to Inspire as they were supposed to be better. Once lockdowns were over I came back.Active Fitness is a friendlier gym, always can get on equipment and classes. The app is great with at home workouts and staff are helpful and friendly.

Don't listen to old reviews, this gym is great. Has made some great imprisonments, always taking the chance to get new things when they can. Lovely staff, nice women's only area, big space and has everything you need. Combat area is a big plus too!

Dirty gym steam doesn't work. Sauna room filty .No termometer in the sauna room heat also weak. The worest gmn i have ever visited .

Signed up recently . Gym is large and has everything you need .  It's a bit spit and sawdust but I prefere that in a gym .. few little things such as smashed mirror in weights room  needs fixing and few weights with missing end weight plates    overall though I'm pleased with it so far
