A big shout out to the housekeeping team - our room was exceptionally clean.nnThe room has everything you need, spare pillows, hospitality tray, charging points etc.nnMore supplies of tea/coffee etc are at reception along with ironing boards etc.nnThere is also a vending machine for snacks.nnThe location is great, very close to the railway and bus stations, just off the High Street. It is located immediately above a Wetherspoons which might be handy for some I preferred the Lochaber Cafe in the station for breakfast.nnThe staff are friendly and welcoming which is always appreciated after a long journey.
The hotel and surrounding area were quiet and dark at night; I slept very well during my stay 5 nights. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and chatty.nThe car park is a bit mad and it ends up with loads of vehicles parked perpendicularly to the main parking area which makes it awkward to get in and out of spaces. That said, I always managed to get a parking space and it wouldn't put me off staying here again.
Awesome Location!! We had a window with a view and a breeze. We loved watching everyone finishing the WHW. Pay for internet. The room felt a little dated feeling but otherwise great. We stayed May 2024 for 1 night passing through on our first trip to Scotland. This hotel was PERFECTLY located for exploring the city. You can walk to everything! Lots of shops and restaurants. Parking can be a bit dodgy, but would recommend & would stay again.
Cheap and cheerful, £70 for a two night stay, so cannot really complain about the cracks on the walls, the ripped and frayed towels or the dirty bedding. Just wish guests gaf about keeping quiet when running through the hallways or the hotel investing in better soundproofing of rooms
Very handily placed for Fort William town centre. It’s literally above the Great Glen Wetherspoon didn’t hear any noise from it. There’s also the Black Isle Bar literally 20 seconds walk from the hotel and both of these venues welcome children till 22:00. There’s free parking on a dirt / gravel piece of ground behind the hotel and up the hill about 25 metres on your left. Remember to add your registration at reception.nOne star off as the pillows weren’t great, especially compared to a more Premier rival.
