This is the very best Bed&Breakfast we experienced - ever! Everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms are so neat, clean and cute decorated. This house have a very own very original and beautiful atmosphere. The lady who gave us the keys and served our breakfast was very nice and kind to us, we felt very welcome here. By the way, this was the most spectacular breakfast we had in our complete time in Scotland, it was awesome delicious! Thanks for two wonderful days in this beautiful house, we'll be back next time we're around here.
We stayed at Gowan Brae after finishing the West Highland Way. After 7hrs walking in the rain, it was wonderful to arrive here to such a warm welcome and warm room. Our room was generously proportioned, showers were good and hot, and breakfast was excellent we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. We'd stay here again if we are in Fort William again. Location is convenient for any WHW walkers - 5 minutes from end of the trail.
We had an excellent break in this B&B. The location was excellent in a quiet street. We had a wonderful breakfast with great scottish host. She gave us some advice for our visit, and thanks to her we had a wonderful day and saw gorgeous landscapes. Thank you! We recommend Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely lovely! The room was clean and comfortable and the hostess made us a delicious breakfast with a ton of food. When we had to leave early our second day, she even made us lunches to take with us to the airport. I'd definitely stay here again!Rooms: 5/5

1st time staying at this b/b and already planning our next stay. received a warm welcome the minute we walked through the door from ann. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. 10/10Breakfast was excellent. Special wee touches like the cold tray that the milk, and orange juice sat on so they were nice and cold. 10/10. View from our room window was stunning.

The Service is Outstanding, we were late booking in and Ann left us supper in our room, very thoughtful. The home is beautifully original and very atmospheric. and I have to say spotlessly clean. Just so sorry we couldn't stay longer. We are already planning our next visit to Ft. William and will staying at the Gowan Brae again for sure.
I loved everything about Gowan Brae. We were met by Ann, a lovely distinguished courteous lady, for whom nothing is too much bother. Everything is meticulously clean, and the view we had from our en suite room over the Loch was beautiful. The full English breakfast is fully recommended. The welcome extended by Ann and Jim is just superb, we have already asked if we can go back next year. The drive through Glencoe is breathtaking. It certainly has the wow factor, what's not to like. Can't wait for next year.
Fantastic B&B. Stayed for one night while travelling the NC500. Room was spotless and cosy, bed was very comfortable. Little touches like branded toiletries and crystal glasses made it feel extra special. The breakfast in the quaint dining room was excellent. Great views.Rooms: 5/5
