Lovely and attentive staff! I see a lot of people complaining about the quality of rooms, but you have to remember this is a budget hotel and - as with everything - you get what you pay for. I've found the rooms to be cleaned to a high standard despite the outdated decor. Travelodge always have really comfy beds too, which of course is what you're looking for in a hotel. Great place, great people. :)

Have attended here a few times recently to see family staying at the hotel. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Good selection of drinks (although a non alcoholic beer or cider would have been nice) and the area was clean and well appointed (again an extra point if there had been a mirror in the disabled toilet). We all had a lovely night.

Friendly, competent staff. Spotlessly clean. Freshly painted. Toasty warm. Good range and value menu. Would love to go back again

Very nice place and great service. Worrying than the bar staff don't know What is whisky and what isn't. Especially in Scotland

Do not try and contact this hotel as its ridiculous the first number you are charged 13 pence a minute to be informed you replace the eight with a three and when they do not answer because they are busy you are then transferred back to the original number who recites the same numbers again absolutely ridiculous I'm astonished only to be told to call back when they are less busy really!!.
