Not particularly cheap in price, and yet felt it in quality! There are far better and cheaper hotels pretty close by (both of the city centre premier inns for example). The bad - The walls were quite thin and I could hear the TVs from both Adjoining rooms, the hallway stank of cigarette smoke, the breakfast was pretty dry and unappetising and there was a lack of staff at breakfast to keep the dishes topped up. The restaurant felt like a staff canteen rather than a hotel restaurant. There wasn't much choice of places to eat locally and so it meant a trip in to the city centre, which because of the road layout is not walking distance (lots of busy main roads)! The good - Free parking! Wont be returning!

Good location nice hotel breakfast ok. just wish there was more than just a few hangers to put clothes (no shelves).

Accommodation was fine and staff were helpful enough. We were supposed to be provided with a family room with a double bed and 2 pullout beds, but the room only had the double bed. Luckily other rooms were available and staff were quick to relocate us.

It's a great place if you want to stay over as the rooms were clean, and the air con is a bonus. the only negative is that the hotel seems to be under staffed - at breakfast they ran out of butter which was a bit disappointing. It's handy for Derby and the surrounding area and has lots of parking. the bathroom was a bit small but was functional.

Great night's stay. Lovely family room and good breakfast. Would definitely stay again!
