Everything and everyone were excellent from beginning to end 2-11pm. Food really beautifully presented, servers well mannered, well dressed and unobtrusive.
The Priory is situated in the perfect position, eclectic in style and comfortable...but it wasn’t warm enough.
Wherever we went during the wedding there was a chill in the air.
Thank you from us for helping to make David and Sue’ day so wonderful.

I went here a few days ago with my partner/best friend. And it was AMAZING!!! We absolutely loved it. The place is HUGE, we parked in 1st car park & went in main entrance, but we had to go round the back, we needed to drive down the road & round the back & park in the golfing car park, our entrance was near that...lol.
I had a Virgin experience voucher for a Spa Day for 2 with 1 treatment each...which I picked back massage.
I've always loved massage anyway but Jim had never really had a proper one professionally...he LOVED it. He said "she had just the right pressure" & said "I'm so relaxed after that & it was only 25 min, it felt longer...I could've fell asleep it was so nice."
Then we went through to the bar & just chilled out on sofa, while he had a pint of bitter & I had my latte...as usual. I'm always for the coffee! But look at the size of the cup on the pics...it's nearly the size of my head. I thought nearly £8 was a bit dear for the 2 drinks until I saw the size of the coffee...lol.
Then after that we went through to the changing rooms, got our swimsuits on & off to the pools. Jacuzzi 1st...that was great after that massage. We tried the steam room & sauna, they were good but not for us...we preferred swimming in the main pool & lazing in the jacuzzi.
The main building & the pools are exactly like the pictures you see when you Google it.

I have only visited for a corporate function, but this is a nice hotel from what I have experienced. The corporate facilities comprise numerous meeting rooms. Tea, coffee and snacks were served throughout the day, and the lunch we had was excellent. There was adequate car parking, and a golf course in the grounds of the hotel.

A lovely atmosphere in the hotel, particularly the older part. Beautiful grounds and viewsee from our bedroom window. Very helpful and pleasant staff. The food was good and my gluten free diet was well catered for.

We love this place and have been several times and will go again as it is so beautiful. All the Staff are amazing and very friendly. The building is full of history being the oldest Marriott in the world...so some creaking floorboards can be expected in such a beautiful building. The grounds are also very pleasant to wander around. We have been twice already this year, the last time with some friends who were celebrating their 30th anniversary and a birthday. On arrival our friends were delighted to receive a chocolate cake on a chocolate iced place with happy birthday and two small prosecco bottles.  We also are in the restaurant and again my friends were presented with a happy anniversary iced plate. They were delighted and just finished off a gorgeous weekend.
