Absolutely loved it, lovely atmosphere, beautiful ornate Rooms. Friendly and accommodating staff. This hotel is a real gem, we have stayed in other hotels in Derby but this one is by far better. Highly Recommend. Look forward to staying here again.

Characteristic pub, cheerful and friendly staff, good price for good food, not the cheapest (about a 2-3 out of 5 for price) but certainly worth the price for the historic atmosphere. House tap decent!

Nice staff. Nice Nice old-fashioned rooms but in need of functional improvement. Eg room heating, hot water.

A quirky and beautiful hotel. The pictures on the internet don't do it any justice. Expect four poster beds in every room, tasteful vintage decopage and layout throughout, polite and friendly staff, room rates are competitive. Fantastic value. And of course what's not to love about the pub/microbrewery to the rear :)
