Staff friendly and approachable, willing to go that extra mile and helpful to make your stay better. Relaxing, clean rooms and facilities good. Will come again. Turned a necessary stay into a mini break. Restaurant amenable to change to meet needs of clients. Breakfast options great. Main meals great. Lovely to see that background staff as approachable and helpful as those on front desk. Look forward to my next visit
The Center is good for location. The foodnWasn’t bad.nMy room was more like a dorm room rather than a 4* hotel.nPeople messing around allnNight. Running up and down the corridors. This place looks great for a training stay or similar. When you’ve a 5am start listening to lads messing about isn’t much fun.
We have booked a room for an overnight stay as my son has a BMX race in the morning. It is 11.30 at night. They have a wedding reception booked and loud music is blaring out making it impossible for us to sleep or enjoy the room. Weddings are fine but we should have been warned about the unacceptable level of noise when booking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Appalling.nnAt 12.15 it is finally quiet. Maybe we can begin to think about sleep.
Exceptional customer service, all staff are polite and happy to help.nThe Christmas parties are well managed and goid value and the comedy night i attended was very good.nThe recent makeover in the rooms has made them brighter and more inviting.
I was in Derby for business.nAt reception I was met by a friendly and helpful lady. Unfortunately that was the only positive point. I thought I had booked at the hotel but to my surprise I was asked to sign a tenancy agreement and was shown to a room at India House not the hotel. Initially I thought the room was just very dated and unclean but a few days after I realised it was infested by creepy crawlies all over, I was so disgusted that I left 10 days before the end of my stay. Upon checkout I was not asked how my stay had been and above all why I was leaving 10 days early! I emailed the property for a refund but they decided to just just refunded the deposit and I was also told that throughout my stay I had not given any indication that my experience was unsatisfactory great hospitality.
