Very very dog friendly pub. Brilliant place to go with the pooches. Aside from that it's also very nice and quaint, prices are reasonable, and the food was very nice. They also do takeaway pizzas which I'll definitely be trying next time I'm about.

Great food. Good prices. Make sure you book a table when going on a. Bank holiday. Can get very busy.

Came across this lovely pub avoiding M40 traffic with two children and two dogs. What a find! We were all made to feel so welcome - the dogs are well catered for and the baby changing facilities were amazing. Then there’s the food, we ordered from the snack menu and everything was excellent - certainly nothing from a packet. We’re from Manchester but we’d definitely seek this place out again. The only thing I’d say is I would have loved to see a local ale on tap.

Lovely friendly staff excellent service and great food, dog friendly area or restaurant if you don't but why wouldn't you love dogs 😊. Lovely setting quite village by canal. Just a great place to eat, drink and be with family

Food here is very good indeed and I would recommend it to anyone. Home made and good value for money. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. Never had a bad meal to this day and have visited regularly for a number of years
