Nestled alongside the Hatton Locks, the Hatton Arms offers a contemporary and casual drinking and dining experience, serving a superb range of classic cask ales and fresh British food.

Wouldn't call this place a pub. If you just want to have a drink you are forced to sit in the 'bar' area, which feels like a hotel foyer, on benches next to the kitchen door. Well, door is a loose term for a gap in the wall in which you can see and hear the kitchen staff making meals for the restaurant. This is what this place is...a restaurant. Not a pub.

Delicious meal and good service. The lamb shank was very tasty. The pricing is right at this pub too. Great value for food that punches above its weight given the price. Don't expect massive portions but I was happy to forgo that for good quality. We had a mixup in the kitchen and our order was delayed and the staff took care of it with some free drinks and a discount off the bill. Excellent service in spite of the error.

Attractive pub with ample outdoor seating on hillside overlooking Hatton Locks. Unfortunately customer service let it down on our visit. They're obviously known for their food as it was packed with diners but they stop serving food at 6.00pm on a Sunday! We arrived at 5.00 so felt it reasonable to expect to be able to order food. We were told we couldn't as they were fully booked even though we had a table in the bar! Still bewildered as to why we couldn't order food to eat in the bar. We decided to sit outside as it was quite hot and stuffy but they didn't have the umbrellas up. Bearing in mind the amount of rain we've been having it was puzzling why they had them down. Someone did eventually come with the key to put them up after having to ask several times. It was one of those places that gave the impression the customer was an inconvenience.

Lovely place with a good choice of menu. Excellent service and food. Would recommend.
