Small British restaurant in an old nicely decorated building. Fantastic service, food quality was 9/10. I had fish and chips and it was really good. Would definitely go again. Price is also great. The best quality Vs price I've tried in the area.Food: 5/5

They cater well for food allergies and intolerances including gluten and dairy free. They went out of their way to amend dishes to cater for various food intolerances. The food was lovely at a good price. The photo is of the amended Eton mess.

A simple village restaurant, with a choice of British and continental food. Almost full on a weekend night, so go with a reservation. Serves one of the better fish and chips I've tasted, with fresh fish, minimal separation of batter from fish and a crisp and tasty crust. The house wine choices were good and matching the menu. Service was prompt and not overbearing. Overall a good place to have a laid back meal with a group of friends or family.

Our first time here but we loved the real good service and great hostess who made us feel like the main event with excellent food.

Had a lovely lunch with great service. I had the sausages which I wouldn't recommend as a little fatty for my liking but don't let this put you off as the other food on my table was excellent. I would book as very popular place and can see why. The lunch menu considering the food and choice was good value and even get a free glass of wine if have two courses. Will definitely visit again.

Such an amazing experience here, the place is so cozy and the atmosphere is so nice! The staff here are unbelievably friendly and accommodating and the food was amazing!!! Me and my group couldn’t stop talking about how good this place was! The food portions were a bit small but still would return regardless because how great the service and quality of the food was Dietary restrictions: My friend was gluten and lactose intolerant and they accommodated her really well

Lovely time having Sunday lunch. Delicious food, excellent service and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Felt very welcome and it was great meeting the staff and proprietor. Would definitely want to revisit.

We had a larger party of 12 so space was limited and part of the table not ready on arrival so... food was good Sunday roast hot and well cooked. Good value as we had a 2/3 course deal.Food: 4/5
