Best steak and ale pie ever so much meat loaded and im 58 i know how to moan. Oliv served us with professionalism and bev followed up being brave enuf to ask us if we enjoyed our meal we did. I left my glasses and bev came outside and found me. These girls are an asset n reason i will return with my freinds.
We attended for a wake service in memory of my grandad, who was a little bit of a local legend in the place, food was delicious and in good variety, staff were very helpful. The only negative thing to say about the day is that several guests were not allowed in the pub due to issues with the landlord. I understand it's at the landlords discretion who they allow in the premises however you'd expect a little bit of empathy on a special day like a funeral especially given it was the place the majority of guests know my grandad from.
Had lunch with my Sister and Dad, today. Service was fast and the food was excellent. Very reasonably priced. Gwen bar person/waitress was lovely and made sure we was well taken care of. Will definitely return *****
Superb meal last night with a friend. Beautifully presented and super fresh food, Sarah and Liv could not have been more attentive. Reasonably priced for the quality of food and the service. Well done team
We have been to the Virgins a few times and it’s always been great. No other place in Kenilworth can offer this oldie worldie atmosphere. As the Virgins has just been taken over, we thought we would give it a midweek try to make sure they hadn’t ruined it! It’s even better than before. The menu is brilliant and without doubt it’s the best value for money restaurant in the town at the moment. The food quality far exceeds the price charged. We had two starters, mains and soft drink and that came to £50.25. Planning to come for Sunday lunch soon.
