Last time I use them - they are a analogue service in a digital age. I have stuck and tried to stay loyal to local taxi firms like TOA but enough is enough. Firstly, the last 3 times they never turn up on time even though I had booked in advance. When I asked how long I was told they were looking for a driver? That is as useful as a glass hammer. Yesterday I was made to wait 45 minutes and still no-one came. When I phone up I was told to wait. I then used a famous online app begins with U and ends with R. Within 7 minutes a car came and I was on my way. Taxi firms like TOA are finished. Rubbish customer service and you wait forever. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.
A little while back, I was at the hospital with my poorly 1 year old. We eventually got discharged at 11:30pm, so I rang TOA asking for a ride home with my son, explained the situation to them that I was in, and obviously very eager to get my 1 year old home. I was told they were a little busy so he'd see how long the wait is and call me right back to let me know. Still waiting for that call to this day, and left me stranded as I was awaiting for a callback for ages. Realised I'd be waiting a while so looked into other arrangements. Absolutely terrible taxi service would not recommend at all
Booked a cab and it was spot on time. The driver was polite and so helpful. Such a reasonable price and when my son left his bag behind, He dropped it off for free. Brilliant
Just got out of a taxi from T.O.A Birmingham, won’t use them again. The driver was swerving wildly on the motorway. We realised that he has been watching YouTube videos in his phone whilst driving us. Whilst it was great we could book with them at short notice today due to rail strike, we would have made other arrangements rather than risk our safety like this if we had known this was the standard of their drivers.
Pre-booked a taxi after dropping my car off at a garage for the next morning, waited around 20 minutes, called and they said no driver had accepted the job... So why have a prebooking service in the first place? Had to cancel and order an uber, much more reliable
Booked a taxi last Thursday for today for my mom as she's currently in a wheelchair they never showed! So we tried them earlier to get back home we booked it for 4pm and 20 minutes went by so we rang them and it wasn't even dispatched! Absolutely disgusted with this company they are not reliable at all!!!
first time i used this firm was Monday 9th of Jan they were great arrived on time and safe travel for my wheelchair bound mother to get to her hospital appointment. then today she had a vital appointment for a ct scan on her head so i pre booked the day before for 3.15pm no taxi turned up after multiple calls and to be told that pre booking didn't guarantee a car!!!! and no driver was available for up to an hour. So vital appointment now missed lets hope this doesn't affect her long term health. No faith in this firm do not rely on them
Consistently appalling service. You may wait hours for your taxi, they may not wait for more than a minute without leaving. Wheelchair users beware. Completely unreliable, a truly appalling taxi company.Service: Limousines
EXCELLENT SERVICE! I hadn't used this Company before, when all the trains got cancelled due to a track problem, my son was stranded trying to get back to Birmingham. I called them to see if they could help, the switchboard person was very helpful and within around 10 minutes the taxi had arrived and my son had been sent a note of the vehicle number picking him up so he knew he was in the correct taxi. The driver was very nice and got my son safely back to Birmingham for his onward train home. I would highly recommend this Company.
The driver had told me that I had to pay again even though I told him I had already paid via app. I thought once I paid him I would get the refund from the app. But it did not happen. I told the company what happened and they do not give me my money back! They simply ignore my messages!
