The drivers have all been fine. Usually the switchboard operators are very polite and helpful, however I've recently had a very bad experience with one who was incredibly rude! I've made a complaint but nothing has been done.
I have used this firm for a number of years and they have gotten steadily worse. This is the 2nd time they've given me the run around and I wont be calling them again. They say the taxi is booked, it doesn't turn up then they cut your call off when you call the switchboard. If you are vulnerable, disabled, need to get to the hospital, call someone else.
If I could give this place a 0 then I would. Taxi did not arrive in the right place and when I called back there was no answer. A few years ago it was a £15 fare and I got robbed at £25. Absolute clowns. I will never return here again and neither would anyone with a brain.
Driver not aware of and could not find well known restaurant in centre of Birmingham advance booking clearly not aware of Sat Nav either. Stopped as it turned out around 500 m from restaurant and wanted full payment. Hope he used money to buy a Sat Nav
Pre Ordered a taxi from Moseley to Oldbury, taxi didn't turn up so phoned them and they said driver was stuck in traffic, 20 minutes later still hadn't arrived phoned again and operator said she had no idea where driver was so I cancelled booking DISGRACEFUL!
Unreliable taxi company. I booked a taxi for my son with them and they said waiting time is 5-7 minutes. After one hour wait taxi still hasn't arrived.. and they cancelled my booking without notifying me. Please just don't commit to a job if you are not going to do it properly. Very disappointed.. Thanks.
Great company very helpful with my school run and always let you know if a taxi is late or unavailable rather then let you sit and wait. Not alway the fasted but will update you along the way. I would recommend friendly staff
I have only used Ambassador Cars a few times, but this will be my taxi company choice going forward. From the phone call to a friendly, efficient receptionist to patient I am disabled, punctual drivers I have had 100% excellent experiences. Thank you for making me nights out complete. Sheryl
This company will lose a massive trade from my business now due to the attitude I have just received on the phone then the easy solution is to hang up, i will make sure all my customers in future will use other local taxi firms like 1st choice, sorry ambassador your trade will no longer be used stinking attitude staff
Unreliable, highly unprofessional with smelly cars and they arrive very late, I got 5 different msgs from different taxis to pick me up but none arrived on time. They parked a mile away from the address you have given and expect you to walk to the car. I 100% wouldn't recommend using this taxi service!!! Never again will I use this taxi service!
