I'd had a nightmare with Uber drivers going to the wrong pick-up location. Called Ambassador and was originally told 15 minutes but waited 45! However, the driver was so nice. I pay for everything on my phone so had to ask to be taken home for a bank card and then to a cashpoint. There was a problem with the first 2 cashpoints then finally the 3rd worked. Tried to give him a big tip but he wouldn't have it. Honestly felt very grateful at the end of a long night.
Got a taxi after my bike broke, it was cheap had a great chat the driver and took the quick way rather than the long satnav way. Thanks Arshed Mahmood Top man
If I could give a zero I would. A very rude and unprofessional receptionist I wonder if its family owned the way she spoke to me was unbelievable. I asked for the manager and she stated he just comes and goes which is probably a lie I hope the calls are recorded but if she can talk to people like that is there any accountability for the workers there? I waited 45 mins for a taxi only to be told the driver left and went to another booking even after I explained the text did not come through and I tried to call him. No help at all, she could have easily got him to turn around it was two mins after he left. I phoned the taxi driver as I saw a text just before I rang her which arrived in my inbox after the driver left. She is an unclassy nasty individual. Unprofessional don't waste your time or money on this "taxi firm" I'm convinced she has probably lost them a host of loyal customers. It's not wise to not have an email or alternative number for the manager when she is the only one taking the calls. If that was my taxi firm no worker would get in the way of my business and income, I'd fire her on the spot if I found this out.
I have to leave this review as this could of ended up with us missing our train. We booked a 5 seater on Friday evening to be picked up at 7.30 the next morning. The taxi turned up on time however it was a 4 seater Fortunately Sharon in the office managed to get a 5 seater 10 minutes later.If it wasn't for Sharon I would not use them again
Ambassador cars took me home this afternoon from a visit to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham . There is a freephone handset at the desk in the main Reception so it could not have been easier or more convenient. The service was exemplary with a professional, pleasant and polite driver. I was picked up within 15 minutes of requesting a taxi and delivered home safely and in comfort. I would have no hesitation in recommending this service.Service: Limousines
Beware fo different drivers charging different prices, charged too much at a quiet time, and reasonable price at at bust time, don't believe the already old chestnut it's because of the petrol prices, and when I did call to complain about my friend being way over charged, I was told it was my/ our fault for paying the bill
Took an absolute age to arrive, but the operator explained there would be a long wait. Handled my follow up calls with courtesy. Car eventually arrived, then left without checking the waiting area. Had to wait another 40 minutes on top of the 1.5 hours I had already waited. Not ideal.
Excellent service, polite and clean cars.
Disgraceful. Ordered 2 taxis as we were going to two different locations. One in city centre and needed to get train by certain point..... they promised 2 seperate taxis with a 20 minute wait then only sent 1 after nearly 30 min wait saying had to go together. Then they over charged a ridiculous amount nearly £5 more than 2 seperate taxi charges and missed our train. Rude, un proffesional.... avoid. Used for many years and after the disgraceful treatment tonight will be reporting and never using again
