0 stars based on my moms most recent journey that I also booked for her regularly! Used this taxi company at least 4 times a week for almost a year spending quite a bit of money! Driver was abusive and really made my mother feel uncomfortable and upset!! I paid the taxi at 8.02 via my card and had instant confirmation! Yet there system obviously had a delay.. the driver wouldn’t let my mom out the car until she paid shouting at her to the point neighbours had to tell the driver to calm down and it been sorted!! He was paid cash and the payment had already gone through on my card!! Doubled paid n no apology from driver 425 or manager after calling to complain!! Absolutely disgraceful service!! The lady who takes the bookings is lovely and so are many on the drivers tbh but the experience has really put me off using them again So using Yenton cars from now on and they’re great!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company. Told me 5-10 mins for a taxi. . . 50 mins later still no taxi! Sent over 8 text message stating taxi on the way which never turned up! Use another company not this one
Would give zero but can’t got in taxi looked and he was takin me somewhere 7 miles then he phoned them and then took me wrong way again came to 9 pound 70 usually 5 pound 6 at most made me pay 8 pound DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOUR LOOKIN FOR GOOD SERVICE
Just had a taxi and as soon as I got in the taxi driver was telling me I booked the taxi wrong and started trying to have an arguement with me He waited a total of 5 seconds as I left the building as soon as he marked he had arrived Extremely rude and aggressive driver... Typically very friendly taxi drivers but this guy has ruined my day by being miserable and aggressive.
I phoned these today, to take me home while my car was at the garage. I tried talking to the operator and requested I pay by card on the phone, for the five pounds she quoted, she transferred me to a man, who told me I hadn’t booked, and I had to repeat the address 4 or 5 times, so I told them not to worry and left it. The manager of the garage then tried ringing them, and ordered a taxi, giving me cash for the ride instead. When he came, he was insistent my ride was into the city, and it was ten pounds. I explained that was not where I wanted to go and I was quoted £5. He became very irate, so I just asked him to drive towards my home address, and we started driving. He continued to have a go at me, he was very rude, and I told him so and asked him not be. He then accused me of being rude, continuing to berate me. I called the taxi office for help, and they were next to useless. I have MS and I am disabled, with very limited mobility, otherwise I would have asked him to let me get out. I felt vulnerable, defeated and very depressed that I found myself in this position. I don’t cry, but he caused me to. Finally, upon seeing me so upset, he apologised. I had to accept it, as I was in no position to do anything else. I believe that apologies are worthless, it should not have happened at all. I was a lone, disabled woman in his car, very much at his mercy. I have stored the taxi no under’DO NOT USE’. I would not recommend them at all. I would recommend single women to request a female or use a female taxi firm if there is one.
I have used them for the airport before and they have been good, however today's experience was awful, taxi driver parked behind the car on the drive and halfway on the road so in the way of passing cars when there it could easily park along the paving, nearly drove off while trying to get it because he was too distracted with his machine to pay attention, there wasnt enough space in the back due to food on the seat! Which the driver had to drop off and asked us to pass to him and drove crazily all the way!
If I could give 0 stars I would have. I called a return taxi home, the driver called me and rudely told me to wait a outside and that he wouldn't wait if I wasn't ready. I explained of course I'm ready, he hung up on me. Once he turned up he refused to take me as I had an empty cat basket. He said leave it and I'll take you, I said I had a blanket for his boot but still he rudely told me no I'm not taking you with that. Never known such rudeness from a taxi company. Some people need to use a taxi to take a cat to the vets and don't expect to be treated with disrespect.
The thing I like galaxy cars, they always have a taxi ready for there customers and my son's use galaxy well done Galaxy,10/10
I always use galaxy cars lovely guys but today iv never seen him before.they usually take me to chemist and post office and wait for me I'm never long.i was in the chemist he came in and asked me how long I would be.i got upset and cried I got my prescription and went back to the car .I never got my food etc from post office .as I got into the car he started to reverse and drove my car door wasn't shut.he was nasty saying do you want the post office I said no take me home I was really upset .the fare came to €6 something I gave him €10 for being abused I am a pensioner that man should not be picking up clients.im so scared to phone galaxy now as I go up Good hope hospital regular.hes a very very nasty taxi driver.iv all ways praised Galaxy and choice taxis.
