Stayed for 3 nights over this New Year. Had a great time, hotel is just a little tired looking. Food was delicious, great entertainment and the Gala New Years Day buffet was outstanding. The staff were so helpful and pleasant couldn't do enough to help everyone, especially those with disabilities
A big thankyou to all the staff at the Toorak Hotel. Our group had a Christmas Party Night with overnight stay on the 13th December. The rooms were very clean. The meal was excellent and very plentiful and the dance was great. We were very tired at the end of the evening from so much dancing. The staff from every part of the hotel were very friendly, helpful and always had smiles on their faces. Will definitely be returning as we have done in past years.
Five mins from the beach access to great pools and lovely staff.nGreat buffet style breakfast and kids ate free!nWe actually had an emergency hospital stay and they made sure to keep an eye out for my husband to get in in the wee hours.nAnd asked how our daughter was.nHighly recommend staying here.nAffordable and great location.
Overall glad we came for the facilities, but the service, cleanliness and quality of food weren’t great.nnPositives: the indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi were great for the family. The soft play was also fun. The family room we stayed in was ok, had a fan and tv, but we paid extra for a sea view room and our view was blocked by trees.nnNegatives: Although they claim to be wheelchair accessible, everywhere had steps! The main door, the entrance to the restaurant, going down to the pool, to the games room and to the entertainment. It was a nightmare trying to get around the resort with our disability pushchair. The lift to our room was old and slow.nThe breakfast was ok, but the bistro restaurant food was overpriced and tasted like frozen ready meals.nThe carpets throughout the resort smelled and were old. The menus were all sticky. The walls in the corridors were peeling.nThe staff were very hit and miss. Some were great but others responded like they couldn’t be bothered.nnThe resort has the potential to be really good but they need serious modernisation and training.
Had a great works party here tonight. Lovely food great service, especially a server I think her name was Lilly. DJ good as well
