This elegant Torquay hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Torquay on the English Riviera, sitting majestically on the headland looking out to sea. It is set in two acres of magnificent grounds and offers stunning views across Torbay with numerous coastal walks nearby.

A lovely hotel situated close to the sea. (Awesome views) The food here is amazing and at an even better price. The staff are very welcoming and the sauna well kept. There are three hydro pools, a Jacuzzi, steam room and a sauna, the changing rooms are also very spacious. There's a small gym. The bar offers seating and entertainment, there is also a pool table by reception. A lovely place for a weekend get away with the spouse. Offers a short walk down to a quiet beach where there is a cafe and surf shop. Definitely will be staying here again.

Lovely location, traditional hotel. Went here hoping for an evening drink on the patio, but they'd closed the outdoor area. Comfortable indoor bar area, though they had live music on the night, but thumbs up to the band as they didn't play so loudly that we couldn't have a conversation. Decent (albeit a tad pricey) drinks selection, real ale properly kept so full marks for that. Barman was a bit supercilious and remarked that I was lucky to be served as I paid the drinks tab (around £15) with pound coins! Would I come here again? Yes - I'd buy at least two rounds and pay in 5p pieces!

Lovely pot of tea for two. Sat on patio with wonderful view over Torbay. Waiter very good. Accidently left my i Pad on table. Staff very helpful and kept it safe until my return. Very good experience will definitely go again.

The spa day and treatment was amazing but the bar service was struggling but overall a pleasant experience
