It's quite unpleasant to be in, it seems like decoration and customer experience was put behind prices. Of course, the clothes here are very cheap in comparison to other stores and other retailers, however the overall customer experience prevents me from rating higher.
Looking for matching furniture we have visited our local Stores at Basingstoke, Newbury and Andover. Last resort was to go further away, ie Waterlooville. We found what we wanted there and new the same item was at Basingstoke. A very helpful lady phoned Basingstoke and it was still available.A quick trip across country and another purchase. All staff we encountered were brilliant. Now to have another challenge
Large store with many items, not your everyday sort of store as bits and pieces everywhere. Some decent stuff can be found if you hunt around.
Pretty good selection. Was able to get an amazing bag worth £190 for £40! Real leather and so well made.
What's not to love about TKMaxx??? You go in not needing anything, and come out with all sorts of bargains and goodies. Avoid if you don't want to spend any money
Great place for presents clothes and kitchen accessories. All the Christmas decorations are out now. Friendly staff and good service. Great prices. Open late.
They have some good items, unfortunately they don't top Monks Cross York I think that was the best ever TK Maxx two floors full of lovely items that we spent hours looking round.
I got my yearly holiday clothing, which also serves for "best" for the rest of the year, nice designer shirts, socks and boxers and a decent pair of trainers for just over £100. A lot of their stock I would rate as mediocre, but there are little gems hidden amongst the rest if you take the time to look... It puts my clothing budget for the year at 50p a day, so, not bad!
Some well priced bits, staff are always good.
Looks like an organised jumble sale. Sells things that no other shop wants due to everything being low quality rubbish.
