Sofa fit for the bin after 2 weeks. I tried to complain and they sent someone out to check and said it’s just wear and tear and they sent someone out again for a second opinion and they sent the same person. They also said I need to plump the entire sofa everytime I stand up and I should avoid sitting on it too much. The cushions turn into pancakes after sitting for a few minutes and you can feel the hard surface underneath. Now I’m stuck paying monthly for a sofa that it’s falling apart and stuck with it for 2 more years! Can’t wait to get rid of it and go back to SCS for my next sofa. I had a sofa from them before and it lasted years, no issues. Only had to replace it as it didn’t fit in new home.
We visited 3 times before we were absolutely sure on what we wanted. The first time was a browse for the sofa we thought we wanted. Greeted at the door and pointed in the direction of recliner sofas. Miles then popped over to see if we wanted any help, no pushiness or pressure. He answered all our questions but we went away to have a think. Second time was just to show the kids, so just a quick visit. Today, Miles helped us order exactly what we wanted. Really nice guy, no pushy tactics, just informative and answered all our questions. Didn't feel rushed or pressured on what was a really busy day for DFS. Highly recommended Miles at DFS Waterlooville.
Haven't bought anything yet but all the staff were helpful and happy to assist. Loads to choose from
We ordered a sofa set back on 2nd Nov over three months ago with Miles in the Waterlooville store, and it’s now February with no sign of it. We’ve not had any updates or communication from DFS at all. Really disappointed with the lack of customer service considering we spent just over £5,000!!!
Absolutely appalling service from these people a polite word I brought a sofa a year ago. Since then they’ve had to send 2 people out to re stitch it up as it’s falling apart. The second time they arranged a visit with me and then 3 days before the visit rang to say it hadn’t actually been booked in! So when the second guy came out to look at it they now tell me they need to have 4 hours allocated on it so they can stitch it back up, take it apart basically…in my house and on my time of course!….. another day off work!nnSo here I am trying to arrange this visit I had to call them to arrange because they’d clearly forgotten about me and I’m now told that I have to wait about 6 weeks before I can get this visit as they are so busy. Well firstly what I find off is that they are so busy rectifying peoples damaged furniture…. Doesn’t look good does it? And more importantly why do DFS even have a service that repairs damaged furniture… doesn’t say much about their products does it.nSo they send me faulty goods and here I am having to chase them to rectify it. Absolute joke! No compensation for my time wasted then DFS????nnUpdate on my review… after god knows how many months of not getting off their backs, I have finally been contacted by a lady called Kelly at DFS who has ordered me a new sofa to be delivered. Thank you Kelly!!! You’ve been the only person who I have felt has been on my side and helped me actually get the problem resolved, you also made the effort to actually contact ME. It’s not been delivered as yet though! Watch this space….
