Great store. Friendly staff. Free parking and nearly always a good selection of items which are super competitively priced. Can’t knock it.
Come over today and asked for assistance a lovely lady assisted and also call a young lad call Callum they we're both so helpful and the lady even opened her till so that I could get back to my hubby in hospital, Callum also loaded my car and took the trolleys back . They Both deserve to be awarded for their excellent standard of customer care, well done
We use this branch of Home Bargains in Waterlooville when we are in the main area of Waterlooville for shopping. Some good bargains in store. Parking isn't to bad. However the parking area, although huge seems to be designed wrong? if you get time wrong for parking you may have to queue for ages to get out of car park.!! If you can't find a space in big car park, then Sainsbury's is nearby and exit to get out is quicker. This car park is nearby across the road a short walk from Home Bargains.
First visit to this store on a wet Saturday. Fairly quiet so didn’t have to queue outside in the rain. Once inside and sanitised a walk down the first aisle and it was obvious there was a lot of choice and plenty of ideas for pick up gifts for Christmas. All was going well until I got to the next aisle and suddenly it was a different story. I’m guessing a big delivery had just arrived as there were big cages and boxes of stuff everywhere. Some parts of the aisles you couldn’t even get too. To be fair there were plenty of staff wrestling with all the stock although it was difficult to maintain social distancing while trying to get around the store. In short, lots of choice but difficult to see what you wanted.
I was having trouble carrying my shopping as I'm an 80 Yr old pensioner.A lovely young man named Alfie came to my aid like a flame haired adonis, such a helpful friendly chap.
I love this place so many bargains I always buy more than I need thats the point. Great quality for food as well cheaper than teso too.
Easy to move around, good range of products at great prices. Staff helpful.
The staff work really hard here. It has to be said. It is very busy. If you have a child who does not like crowds and loud noises I would not recommend. It gets very hectic and busy. The area near the tills gets crowded because the layout of shelves and tills is not good. Make sure you bring your own bags as bags are not always easy to get. You can find some really good cheap stocking staffers here like Bath bombs and nail polish but toys can be pricey. I recommend doing a lone shop and not bringing in a family. It is very busy. Staff are cheerful and really go above and beyond in such a densely packed store. Needs a rearrange.
Definitely have to shop around these days. The products are kn par or sometimes a little more expensive than Sainsbury's....it's a real shame
Good store for all sorts of things I didn't realise I needed... I only popped in for one thing slogan is so true! Staff were friendly and good for a halloween giggle on our visit. Busy store so small wait at tills but had what I needed and more.
