It's a tired formula that doesn't seem to have moved on with the times. I've bought the occasional road atlas or cook book in here, but most of the book stock seems to be remaindered stuff. Reasonable range of art and craft supplies, to be fair. Stationery items are usually low quality and poor value. There often seems to be an 'everything must go' sale ... but you can bet your life that the same stock will be back on the shelves in 3 months time. I just feel it needs a kick up the backside to move it into the 21st century.

Picked up some nice bargains in here. My kids love reading and this place always has a deal on books

Affordable art supplies which, whilst not the absolute best, are certainly more than enough for amateur artists everywhere.

Lots of cheap and cheerful stuff, stock frequently changing, often worth a browse as you're passing. Lots of cheap books, art supplies (cheap stuff, not pro) and novelty bits and pieces. Nice place to waste a little time and money ;-)

It's a Works. It's full of random things and good for arts supplies if your only just starting out and don't want to spend lots.
