I had a great stay at this hotel. I requested a late check in for an extra hour and they kindly accepted, even though it was close to their closing time. The room was neat and tidy, with a clean toilet and washroom. There was a slightly strong detergent smell from the bedsheet, but nothing too major. Overall, everything was excellent. The staff were very kind, polite, and helpful. Highly recommended!
Just home from our first midweek roast at the newly reopened Winfield hotel. Excellent service from pleasant and chatty staff. The beef was succulent with plenty of veg, stuffing, a Yorkshire and lots of proper gravy. Excellent value for the price and very well cooked. Would recommend without hesitation
Wingfield hotel,nWas indeed an excellent choice for myself and my dad we were down here for a family funeral, and booked this hotel for its location to family.nOn arrival Fay checked us in given all information in relation to check in an restaurant ect,nWe went to the bar ordered a drink and spoke with the chef about making dad soft food due to having difficulties after his cancer treatment.nWe were offered to sit in the restaurant area but opted to sit in the bar,nFood was great I opted for the gammon,nThe bar area had a pool table darts board and an added bonus sky sports, juke box was on and the locals were very welcoming Tom come along invited my dad to play darts we had a few drinks and laughed the night away.nThe room was a twin room 4 couldn’t fault it in anyway.nWill definitely be returning when visit family.
Just had food here with family of seven, steak, gammon well over cooked and dry, offered us 3 desserts then staff dissappeaed, staff didn't want to know, will never go back, not recommended, poor management skills. Always regular customers, not any more.
Great price on rooms and nice food very helpful staff. Reason for vist working in area
