Had such a lovely evening at this pub! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, especially Charlotte, who was absolutely brilliant all night. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel really looked after without being over the top.nnThe food was delicious and came out quickly, and the drinks were spot on. You can tell there’s a great team behind the bar, but Charlotte really stood out and made the experience that extra bit special.nnWe’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommend!
Mixed review Friday 7oz gammon and the cheese burger meals lovely. Monday mixed grill not much flavour on the steak rest was fine. Wife opted for big yum burger . Not good burger small hard and looked burnt. Staff both days really friendly and helpful will give it another go best out of three?
We had an amazing experience at this pub! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual night out. The menu was fantastic – every dish was bursting with flavor and creatively prepared. What really stood out was the quick service; our orders arrived in no time, with absolutely no wait on the food despite it being a busy evening. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
Been coming here for the last few weeks with my sisters for a carvery on a Sunday and we haven't had a bad word to say about the food, it's always warm and tasty. On the last few visits we have been served by girls called Keeley and Madison who have taken us to our table and checked everything was OK during our stay they have both given a good first impression and are very polite. Karen was chatty when clearing our plates after our meal.nFor the price you cannot fault the food and atmosphere. We will continue to return.
I had previously been here for breakfast several months ago, and everything was good. Recently I booked a table for breakfast on the 31/01/26 for my family to meet up with the grandchildren before continuing our day.nnAt the time it seemed like a good idea. Somewhere for the kids to play and with the kids eating free.nnOn arrival I paid for the meals and collected our coffee. Then proceeded to the hot counter to be greeted with no food. A bit bemused, I asked a member of staff what the situation was.nnI was told that they weren't bringing any hot food out as it was quiet at 09.30 and was told to help ourselves to the continental breakfast, and we would be served at the table. Well, the items at the pastries counter were almost non-existent. So we helped ourselves to what was available. The croissants and tasteless pancakes were dry and not fresh. No pain au chocolat, the kids' favourite. The hot breakfast was ok if you didn't take into account the crispy black pudding and half sized cheap sausages. But at least the person serving was nice and friendly. I was embarrassed that I had taken my family there; I will definitely not visit in the future.
