Story

At Brewers Fayre we've thought of everything. Great value, great food, great family friendly atmosphere; we've got the lot. Our menu is packed full of family favourites all freshly prepared by our trained Chefs. The Crossways is a great, family friendly pub restaurant, located close to Caerphilly Castle, Cardiff Castle & The Millenium Stadium. We have an indoor Fun Factory for the little ones, plus an outdoor play area with seating for over 150 guests! Or, if you're after some grown-up time, we also have an adult only area for diners who prefer to enjoy a quiet meal & chat. Our staff are second to none & look after all our guests, no matter what your requirements!

Father's day meal absolutely shocking. Dried up food, overcooked and the Sunday dinners were cold. Potato & veg were a bit on the hard side. Staff/management not really bothered tbh.
Lovely place to enjoy a very reasonable priced meal, being a Friday night it was busy and the staff were run rugged, us being a party of 12 still had a very enjoyable evening.nWe found the food delicious, good portion sizes and staff accommodating and friendly.nAnd I shout out to Jordan, thank you for helping us with the menu choices!!nOur serving staff were also extremely helpful as a member of our party had a nut allergy and all his food was prepared and cooked separately…..nWell done Crossways !!
Great for a breakfast date. They have such a range of choices, from cooked breakfast to continental - you’ll find something you love. Cooked breakfast was loaded with bacon, hash browns, black pudding, sausages, eggs 4 ways!, mushrooms, tomato, beans and toast - options for V too! Continental included pastries, pancakes, cereals, yogurts and fruits. You get unlimited tea, coffee & juice orange, apple & cranberry with the breakfast deal too. Cath was an excellent host! We’ll be back again.
We were made about as welcome as a methane explosion in an Astronaut suit!. Arrived at 11.40 expecting lunch as the website says its open from 11.30 am, but lunch not served until 12 midday. Ignored for ten minutes and had to seat ourselves as the staff giggled and swore loudly amongst themselves in the kitchen area. The tables, floors and menus were sticky from the previous night. The staff are scruffy in their attire, lack any professionalism and clearly aren't cut out for delivering great customer service. The irony of this is that I was visiting to purchase meals with a customer service voucher that was sent to me following a previous complaint regarding this establishment . Congratulations again Whitbread and associates, your an absolute joke!
Sitting here right now with family for a quiet birthday celebration on table 44nTable behind us has been outside with youngsters from local rfc very rowdy and language is fowl staff walking past not taking any notice at allnWe got two young children and an elderly grandparent with us and staff no battering an eyelid to their behaviour
