My daughter's took me for mothers day lunch. Great settings and service was good however the vegetables were cold. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told that Gareth & Bernard were too busy to speak with us. Also of the 4 ladies toilets, 2 were blocked, 1 had no lock on the door leaving just one in operation. No hand soap either... All round very disappointing!

Attended a beautiful wedding in the marquis. Facilities looked great but the toilets were awful. Intermittently worked, wouldn't flush for hours then would work for a short time before again refusing to flush. Locks on toilet door was broken. Not good enough when you expect your special day to be perfect but the focus is on whether you should go to the loo or hold it in until they work again.

Nice for Sunday lunch or tea but not cheap. Could do with a refurbishment as parts looking a bit tired. The toilets especially do need a good clean and an update. They host functions and weddings and of course it is a golf club. Last time we were there they had a new canvas structure for functions.

I've been to this place for a Sunday spa day which included Sunday lunch. Excellent value for money. We used the gym, the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Had a 2 course Sunday lunch then a spa treatment. When we were dressed we had a coffee and a cake. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very replaxed and the facilities and treatment were very good too. Would recommend this.

Good clean rooms, a nice pool and gym, although the hydro spa was broken. Expensive beer in a decent restaurant... slightly let down by the breakfast
