Lovely local pub. Staff are really friendly and their are always locals in having a good natter. The fires always lit and there's a good selection of crisps. Lol! Never eaten here but they have pizza vans and chippy vans coming every week and I think they have won an award this month for their food April 24

An excellent old school drinking pub, with a great selection of beers, wines and spirits. It has a pool table and plenty of space to sit and chat to your friends or the lovely, friendly locals; who have bags of charm and character. The pub is really well run by Jo and her husband and they even have an authentic Italian pizza oven outside, ran by Mark, a foodie whose Maltese Mother taught him his love for Italian food... the Diavola Pizza I had was sooo fresh; Buffalo Mozzarella, Nduja and Calabrian Sausage, hand-stretched and homemade dough, topped with fresh basil, a sprinkle of parmesan shavings and a drizzle of chilli oil. What a lovely place for a quick beer or a full-on session. Their Quiz night is due to switch Tuesday nights from Thursdays in the new year and I hope to pay them a visit again soon to try my luck in 2023
