Stunning lunch. The warmth and friendliness of the place hasn’t lessened despite the gorgeous redecoration recently. Food was really very good. Fishcakes excellent and sharing platter really good Great to have a really top notch relaxed restaurant in Marple Bridge! Will certainly be back to try in the evening and sample the cocktails

Rather plush, good place for a meal and real ale. Not the cheapest of places but nice decor inside and friendly staff. Check out the special deals. I would recommend this place.

Great food and service. Menu is outstanding. Staff very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend. New refurbished looks amazing.

Came in for a Valentine’s meal for two. Sorry but I can’t understand the poor reviews at all. Service was fantastic, food was great, starters arrived really fast and mains weren’t too long after. The 8oz Ribeye was great, cooked to medium perfectly. Will be coming back again, it’s a little out of the way from where I live but it’s worth it.
