15mins in train so quick drink before catch up train. At The Romiley Arms the staff are very friendly and atmosphere cool. Wish they have more choice for beer. Good location though just in front of station.
Since moving to Romiley 3 years ago and finding the Romiley Arms we've never been disappointed. It's such a great environment for both our daughter and our autistic son which makes the visit as a family a happy one for us all. Thank you. Complements to the chef on today's visit 20/09/2025
Excellent welcome, great food and wonderful atmosphere. Came with my kids one couldn't finish his ginormous burger and the other asked if we could live here!nGreat staff too Emma and her team went out of their way to help us to our table with all our drinks.nFree parking when inputting number plate.nKids have a great play area outside too :
Been coming to the Romiley Arms on Tuesday's for the past couple of years. The past two months we've seen a drastic decline.nnThe staff used to be really friendly and chatty. Now they are stone faced and seem like they don't want to be here.nnWe come in around 4pm for a few hours. The music is now crazy loud and often contains explicit content. Not exactly child friendly. You can't talk to anyone due to the volume of the music, even though there are only 4 customers in the pub!!!nnPast three weeks there has been no kitchen to order food. Which used to be pretty good to be fair. Then today, no kitchen again, no crisps, nothing.nnSuch a shame as this place has potential and even a few months ago was a nice place to finish my days work.nnWill go else where from now.
Atmosphere was absolutely electric wow I’ve never expected anything quite like it!! Also big up to the server Louisa she was amazing and her service was top tier. Would definitely come again
