This place is a hidden Gem. They say it has the best beer garden in Yorkshire. But I would say one of the best in the Uk. The food was amazing and the Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back.
Absolutely beautiful meal..cooked to perfection and served by lovely friendly staff. Head chef came out and spoke with customers...he wont be disappointed with the feedback. Definitely be back and definitely worth a visit!
Had a very good meal last night, we were made to feel very welcome even before we entered by a staff member outside. And when we entered we were instantly greeted with a smile and a welcome. Our waitress was incredibly attentive to our 3 year old son. The food was incredible worth every penny and great that you can see it being made in the kitchen, I couldn’t manage it all but didn’t want to waste any of it was very tasty so they put it in a takeaway pot for me. A hidden little gem with a visit. Kid-friendliness: Extremely friendly and made my son feel very welcome. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces
What a lovely place service was great food was really tasty would definitely eat here again if I was in the area I have fished at woodlands many times but never visited the watermill we are staying in a log cabin so called in for our tea glad we did

First time we’ve visited this restaurant and we were not disappointed, lovely decor and atmosphere inside, we were given the choice of where we’d like to sit which is always nice as opposed to being directed to a table, all staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Food was excellent! Couldn’t believe how much of a nice night we’d had for a very reasonable price. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Though I'd write this before I forget, had works party last night at the watermill venue, as typical brits being drunk before scran gets served and the chaos that we was causing by jumping table to table the staff that served us food where amazing, always smiling, being patient with us and as a chef I would have snapped all day long, atmosphere good band was great and brilliant layout. Food was brilliant, so much much better than I expected so compliments to the chefs that night. Brilliant. Nothing negative and 100% recommended to everyone else. Thank you.
Had dinner here last night. Waited between courses but was worth the wait and expected for fresh cooked food. Staff were very friendly, prices were reasonable.
Amazing place. Very reasonable prices, Food is fantastic. Sunday lunch 3 courses if you can manage it was beautiful. Very friendly staff, we have been eating here for about 5 years and i must say the food now is the best it has been.
I used to live and work in a Greene king carvery restaurant and this is the best carvery I’ve ever had!
