What a lovely friendly pub went with my Kader team mates after our match in Thirsk and only had 1 pint but as good a pint I have had in a long time. Food was put on for us and it was a fantastic cottage pie which was delicious home made comfort food on a wet and cold day you cannot beat it. Very friendly locals too wish we could of stayed longer
Pub was recommended by our hotel. We arrived without making a table reservation to watch the football. The landlord was extremely accommodating and squeezed us in. Table was outstanding but undercover in an amazing space which was heated and had a huge TV. Definitely recommend and will be back

Have not been in this pub since the early 70 s but what an improvement.Great atmosphere beer and a warm welcome . Will be in again soon .
One of the best, tastefully furnished and cleanest pubs I have ever been to. Drinks really cheap too. Highly recommended.
Shot in on the off chance. Very clean and professional with the booking in system for the beer garden. Clean overhead protection ..heaters and mega big screen for sports addict. Pleasantly surprised well done
Very nice pub reasonably priced drinks and free pool.
First time we have been in this place and I think its a nice pub. There is a pool table and there was sport on the telly. The beer selection is adequate and the staff are very friendly. I will go back in on my next visit to thirsk which will be soon enough.Have a look in while you are in Thirsk.

Good range of cask beers all kept in excellent condition, sky sports and BT pool table the toilets are always spotlessly clean very friendly staff and a fantastic bunch of locals great pub all round.
