Staff is very helpful and friendly. I never ever had any issues with the appointments booking or repeat prescriptions. Clean and tidy place. To sum it up, great service from each and every person that I have had interaction with. I would highly recommend this surgery.
This GP practice is bright, well lit and modern. The staff are courteous and pleasant.
Since joining this practice myself and family have been taken care of so nicely and I feel they are doing everything they can to resolve health issues as quick as possible. We were with Farnham Road practice before and have to say we were waiting for weeks and weeks to get appointments and on top always shrugged off. So glad we made that move and registered with The Village Medical Centre.
My father was seen quickly in an emergency without an appointment. The duty doctor was thorough with his examination and arranged for him to be admitted shortly for treatment after we arrived at A and E. Dr Sama I can’t thank you enough for your thorough examination and care for my father.
On my first visit to the surgery I booked an appointment online as it was non-urgent. I had a great appointment as the doctor was very attentive, listened with respect and helped with my situation. HOWEVER - the reception staff are horrible rude and dismissive. I called in the morning to get an appointment for suspected leptospirosis, she did not know or care to find out the nature of this disease. She kept cutting me off and palmed me off to the pharmacist as she said it's too "early" to be seen by a doctor. Walked over to the in house pharmacist and he said all he can do is give cough and painkilers to help with my condition as he doesn't know what leptospirosis was and that I should be seen by a doctor. I don't understand how the reception staff are the great gatekeepers of the GP's.
I don’t need the GP very often, but I accessed their service through the NHS App, got a call back that same day and was seen that afternoon. Sarah in the team realised the urgency and got me seen and I was triaged really quickly. The system does work, and I am very appreciative of such good service. Thank you.
Im not going into detail but went there couldnt breath they turn me away receptionist said im fine didnt know she was a dr who make thoes decisions now im in hospital If you love your family change GPS because they would rather turn you away then inspect you Update i ended up going hospital the same day after the reception is said i was fine and flat out refused me too see any doctor after informing her i have a breathing disease she said you sound fine, turns out citizens advice say a receptionist is in no way medically trained too make that decision, what makes it worse she didnt even open the window and make a visual assesment this was all over intercom Citizens advice belive that is most definitely medical negligence
Worst surgery in whole of slough. They staff is unhelpful, rude and lazy. They want any reason to get you off their backs. Try calling the surgery and you will be holding on phone for hours. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment which would most likely be in few months time, you would rather be dead. The only answer they have for everything is go to A&E. When you get there for your appointment, you have to wait for atleast an hour or more, please be patient with them because they don't care about you waiting. But the day you are 5 mins late, Dr. refuse to see you because they don't want a backlog in the day. Excuse me, please tell me when are you ever on time anyway. If you are so punctual then why is there always a backlog. Please if you want have a better life then don't go to this surgery. I have made a mistake already and I am changing them now. Every person you ask about this surgery, they will tell you the same thing. This surgery should be closed. They are just eating our money up to help themselves and not to us.
I have no appointments for my children, I'm very disappointed about NHS I did call so many times to book them for checks and I asked for my kids testing, but very surprised the doctors they don't care, in this days the doctor have an answer for every illness! It is a virus with out check the person. I have to drop my kids in Spain to be seen by doctors and check them. For England the NHS only wants to be paid and that seems. From 2019 is only covid and virus not other illnesses. I'm very sorry for the people. And the doctors which sign to be doctors or nurses and they don't doing properly they job, they have to be shame of them self.
Out of all 11 doctors I've been to this is the best one, have helped me with alot and made diagnoses I've been trying to sort for years. Very good service, kind staff and brilliant surgery.
