Story

Crosby House is proud to be the oldest practice in Slough, previously run from a small house, modernised and expanded in 1991, with an additional extension in 2004. We care for 11,000 patients under a PMS contract between 2 full time partners and 4 salaried doctors, along with 2 practice nurses and 15 other valuable staff supporting our work. We have a mixed white/ethnic urban population in Central Slough with high disease prevalence. We pride ourselves in giving the best care to our patients.

We run all the usual diabetes, asthma, hypertension, smoking cessation clinics, and our Quality & Outcomes Framework points are consistently amongst the highest in the UK.

I so much agree with Kaur. Mike Hoskin is the most rude and disgusting person I have come across. I will not call him a Doctor, he doesn’t deserve to be called one. My brother and half of my family is in this profession and they respect their profession. Not sure what Hoskin thinks, as if he is a rocket scientist and there is no one like him. He is good at adding more pain to your illness. Half of the medication for any illness is speaking to people with respect and trying to understand there problem, so during the hard time the patient knows that someone is listening to them. Believe it or not when I started writing this review I was at the surgery and a lady came in asking the receptionist for an appointment and specifically said “ I don’t want an appointment with Hoskin”. Not sure how this person sleeps at night and how can he convince himself that he is good in his profession. This profession is not about getting a job and making money, it is about helping people who are going through bad times in life and feel honoured by doing so. I am speechless about this guy. Hope someone from the surgery or this rude, ignorant Hoskin reads his review. But I am sure he is so disgusting morally that it will not effect him. I have also mentioned this to one of their GPs today. Additionally I am in the process of complaining officially to NHS about this person.

Dr Mike Hoskins is extremely rude and ill mannered, with the audacity of telling me off because I had my phone in my hand (not on the phone, or taking a call). Proceeded to lecture me and tell me to put my phone away. Spoke to me like he felt he was above me and I was an inconvenience in his surgery. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Disinterested in my symptoms.

Never seen a bad attitude like Dr. Hoskin got. Such a illiterate behaviour with bad manners. Say no to crosby surgery. Say no to Dr. M hoskin.

The most disgusting behaviour of the doctor I have ever seen. No respect for the patient at all. Dr Gurdip Hear saw my husband in literally 2 minutes. He didn't even sit and listen to what my husband was trying to tell him about his problem. He had a nose operation this Feb and after the last check up by specialist he was given one medicine to use. He used it for the whole one month and he was still having the same problem. The specialist told my husband earlier that if the problem continues after the month tell your GP to refer you to back to hospital straight away. And this disgusting Dr Gurdip didn't even bother to listen and refused to refer and said use medicine for one more month and than come back for referral. He was so awful and pathetic. His behaviour was so rude that I literally wish to slap him! Later on he came in car park to give suggestions for the problem. This is my message to Doctor Gurdip Hear that you should behave in a professional manner towards your patients. Nobody wants to go GP unless they not well. And you should have listened to the patient with patience and act accordingly to the speacialists advice!! I hope I can find some platform where I can raise voice against the pathetic behaviour of this Doctor!! Rubbish Doctor made me give this review, I have never reviewed online before!! Go learn some ethics of this profession!!
