Great little traditional cafe. Lots of expensive bars etc in Manchester so it's quite tricky to find a cafe. Rowntree's has good food with good prices and very good service. Only one waitress at the time and rushing around but efficiently and a good level of service. Says 'people b4 profit' on menu, maybe take some profit and pay for more staff. Seems a very popular cafe.

Went in on a Tuesday, was told that only serve certain vegetarian things on a Thursday. Not what you expect in 2018.

Absolutely disgraceful. Went in for breakfast, waited there about ten minutes while staff ignored me. Only acknowledged my presence when I asked to be served, ended up walking out. Won't be going back.
