My favorite post-match pub in Toon. I love The Bodega and The Botanist pre-match. But this place has a coziness and quite a lot of sentimental value. It's where I go after the Lads play. I always see friends here. I'm from New York. To be able to walk into a Newcastle pub after a game and see guys I know is kinda extraordinary.
Found this gem of a pub years ago.Great for Sunday lunch, good location to the city centre.Love seeing it on "Vera" knowing we go there.

A warm atmosphere in a traditional Victorian pub setting. A good choice of drinks are on offer plus fantastic food. The great location adds to the charm of the place.
This is another old original pub that Newcastle has with a good selection of real ales. Quite a large area around the bar and just off the High Level Bridge so not too far out of the way, great pub and not expensive. Handy to call in on the way to Quayside or Dene Street.
Opposite the Newcastle Keep. This pub has quality written all over it. The building has character, the view from the beer garden is incredible. The décor inside is on the more traditional refined pub. They offer a great selection of real ales, as well as the usual lager's, wines and spirits. Recommended.

Bridge Hotel is a best place for a good drink and relaxing chat with friends. It has more character than any place I have been in Newcastle.
Surprisingly quiet for a Friday in December, but a good atmosphere. Drinks a bit on the pricier end of acceptable, but not excessive. Only one tequila, but a good selection of rums.
