Very nice pub with good size garden AND they sell Guinness Zero! Worth a visit!
It’s a lovely quirky place and really nice staff. This is what it is, cheap and cheerful pub grub. Don’t expect amazing, it’s very reasonably priced and has a 5 star food hygiene rating. I had lasagna and chips which was nice, kids had chicken nuggets only a fiver and Mrs had scampi! All decent. Staff were friendly and welcoming!
Super friendly landlord. Genuinely dog friendly pub. Very knowledgable about the local area. They serve good quality, locally sourced, homemade food. The sweet & sour chicken was delicious as was the steak pie. Really generous portions too. Well worth a visit.
My partner and I had a spa stay with three course meal and breakfast.nThe whole stay was excellent, good food, friendly staff, very clean, comfortable rooms and the spa was lovely.nWe had a mud bath which was a fun experience.nThis was the perfect place for a relaxed, romantic get away and we found the spa stay great value for money.nIf we lived closer I'd definitely visit again.
Literally the worst pub I’ve ever been to.nnOrdered easy quick food which took over an hour to serve, food its self was not fresh and made just in oven or deep fried. Taste wasn’t there either, for example we all know those really cheap chippy sausages. Yeah them ones.nWhilst waiting to food other customers complaint as they didn’t think their drink was correct.nBar staff proceeded to walk to the kitchen shouting and swearing which caused all other customers to leave but we’d just got our food so stuck with it, despite the awkward atmosphere.n“Land Lady” then came out the kitchen and continued the argument instead of asking them to leave quietly and professionally.nnI appreciate that the argument may be a one off, but didn’t feel like it.nnAvoid like the plague. Google won’t let me leave 0 stars.
