Nice warm and friendly atmosphere when visited... good menu! Price of the Cask Ales was just a little high.. but an enjoyable hour or so after a long walk!

Adequate pub food with childrens menu. Good selection of soft drinks and reasonable Selection of ales. Did the job of feeding and watering 2 families at reasonable price.

Great quiz night on Wednesday evenings. Great range of beers and had a long chat with landlord and landlady. Will definitely be going back. Would recommend. Not tried anything from the menu yet but I'm sure we will at some point soon.

Dreadful, went in at 2.30 pm on a Sunday ordered food (beef chilli and chicken burger) and drinks. At 3.05 asked where our food was after several other people had come in after us and received their food. Told it was being plated up but arrived 10 mins later. The chilli was warm not hot and the chicken burger was some processed coated thin sliver. Took the food back to the bar and there was no one there so took it to the kitchen and complained. Asked for money back and was insulted by the staff who threw the money at me and said I was banned. The most disgusting food and rudest staff ever....don't go there.
