Absolutely stunning little family pub. Food was outstanding, quick service & waiting staff were very friendly & helpful. Portion sizes were very good & value for money brilliant. Sunday lunch was to die for. Will definately be returning.

Fantastic local pub, highly recommended we called in for a drink while passing through after a local walk and we're greeted by a great selection of craft ales and a very warm welcome from the land lady.nThe food looked amazing coming out of the kitchen so we decided to stay, trio of lamb chops served pink, veg and dauphinoise potatoes was incredible

Had a fantastic beef sunday lunch today along with a starter of french onion soup. The food is homecooked, tastes delicious and the portions are good value for money. The waiting staff super efficient on both food and drink orders. If you love traditional home cooked pub food then this is an excellent choice, with a very cosy traditional atmosphere.

Haven't visited for a few years, but was happy with the atmosphere, helpful staff, great choice of cask ales and food. Although my prawn sandwich had a 'Different' flavour that I assume was the brand of bread brown and would benefit from more Marie Rose sauce, all other meals were excellent.

Turned up as a table of 12 out of the blue on the off chance they could fit us in for lunch.nNot a problem. We were seated in our own area upstairs which was great.nService was fantastic from the off with our drinks order taken straight away.nWe all ordered off the menu and a few requests for the fussy kids were no problem.nThe food was fantastic pub food, presented really well and really tasty. Not had a pub meal come close in a long time and 12 clear plates proved it.nWould highly recommend for the warm welcome, great real ale selection and excellent food. 10/10
