Lovely food and friendly staff. Husband wanted Morecombe Bay shrimps but not a small starter portion. Not a problem. Doubled up with toast and skinny fries. Delicious. Open fire was welcoming too. Lots of little snug rooms with individual features. Bar can get busy

Just spent a lovely weekend here....stayed at the adjoining cottage. The location is stunning and the accommodation is beautiful. Very comfortable and homely, didn't want to leave! The Lower Buck Inn is such a lovely, warm and cosy place. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was amazing! Had the Christmas dinner and it was honestly the best one I've ever had (sorry mum!) so fresh and tasty. Lovely atmosphere, great people and even the dogs were welcome here! Will definitely be back 👍💟

Comfortable and casual place. Lovely food and friendly staff. Outside seating and cyclist friendly.

We visited here for a family Sunday lunch. They took over half an hour before they took our order even with two prompts. Then it was half an hour again between starters and main course. The food was very good but the place was let down by slow service and the dining room we were in was very cold as the stove had run out of gas

Nice food, friendly atmosphere, lovely staff, has few fireplaces which is always a bonus in winter.
