Always enjoy our visit to the Sparrowhawk. They serve good food and a good selection of drinks including 5 casks (4 local and 1 guest ale). A dog friendly pub with a super beer garden.

We always enjoy our visits to the Sparrowhawk. Very good food beautiful presented. Service and management are always friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble.

It is many years since our last visit as we left the area in 1975 and many happy memories were revived as we waited to be served. We had a most enjoyable lunch with an old friend . The food, the service and the whole ambience of the Sparrowhawk were excellent. The Landlord made us most welcome and we will certainly look forward to our next visit sometime soon.

Friendly and Helpful staff which was good, but food was very average and not worth the money. The place was cold with neither of the open fires lit which made a poor atmosphere. Keep persevering as this used to be a nice pub but it has been cold a few times and the same story with the food. Shame as the staff are friendly and helpful

Best ever steak and ale pie. Cauliflower would better if cooked! Friendly and helpful staff. Overall a very enjoyable Sunday lunch in great, traditional surroundings.
